and like paulie i will take the loss and admit hatton is a great fighter and fought a great fight...still assholes will be assholes and **** all over magicman for having a bad fight...but I will never accept what Mcgirt did as the right thing...u don't take a fighters pride when he was not getting hurt badly...so I am a man and saying hatton is better:good

Paulie looked off tonight but Hatton was very good. The big left hook in the 2nd round hurt Paulie badly and he never really recovered.

If Paulie can last against Cotto with a ****ed up jaw McGirt should have let him finish this fight.Let the man keep his pride

paulie can not hurt a fly even if he wants to. He is so featherfisted and against a fighter who tries to impose his will like hatton, that spells doom. Hatton just walked through anything that Paulie was able to connect without even flinching.

PM has every right to feel annoyed about the towel being thrown in, though he may not have survived the last couple rds anyway, we will never know now.

youve got to understand though... I agree with letting a fighter finish(and think it was a quick stoppage) but Paulie wasnt about to do anything but get hurt for another 5 minutes...why let him take another 5 minutes of beating? he had NO CHANCE of hurting Hatton, so why even bother?

thats probably what buddy was thinking....still I think if I were in his corner i'd have let him finish the round and asked him what he wanted to do...he probably wasnt gonna get stopped any other way

paulie just showed everybody that he is the true magic man.

paulie's new trick " the no (right hand) trick"

but seriously, hatton fought real well and that change the whole bout. pm could not fully recover from the left he took in the 2nd round. the continues barrage of punches got paulie off his game plan. he felt the power and that was the difference

Paulie fought bravely tonight, Mr. Featherfist couldn't hurt Hatton all that much.

Modern day Tommy Loughran, though with less footwork.

Fight was still semi-close, and Paulie actually hurt Cotto.

Paulie didn't show any signs that he can hurt Hatton. It's was a one sided fight. Personally, I didn't mind the stoppage. Paulie had no chance, he was only looking for a moral victory, and at the end he was only throwing jabs. He already proved his toughness in the Cotto fight, no need for more damage.

I felt Paulie broke his hand again. He wasn't using his right very much.

As much as I hate, no despise the neo metro-sexual guido movement, I think Malignaggi has already proven he is tough as Pirategorilla said.

No need for a fight like that to continue unless Paulie had some sort of outside chance for a K.O. This is the big difference between someone like Gatti and Malignaggi. Gatti at least had a chance to turn the tide of a fight with one punch, Malignaggi was just showing up for rounds to take punishment.

If McGirt though Malignaggi had an outside chance to turn the fight around, he would have let the fight continue, but at that point Paulie was just getting beaten up like a transvestite does when they pull a straight trick who didn't know what he was getting into..

Moral of the story, even tranny guido's can be tough. But you need to have the ability to turn a fight around with one punch in situations like that.

    P.S.

You will never be a man if your hero is Ru-Paulie Malignaggi.

    Transgendered men don't count!
