i will do a round by round for the byrd v povetkin fight

    The fight went down-hill badly for Byrd starting in the 6th round. He was stunned in the 10th , and started take a pounding in the 11th.

    I think Byrd could have survived, but he was definitely losing the fight and getting a beating.

    Povetkin has another good win for a guy with only 14 fights. And he not only beat a very good fighter like Byrd, he also learned how to fight and important bout with a cut.

    You can understand a fighter's dad tossing in the towel a bit prematurely, cause he don't want to see his son get beaten any more than is necessary.

    It wasnt out there mate - I know when to stop a fight and I think that Byrd could have continued. But hey - they know better than I do.

    Byrd was so far behind on the scorecards , and couldnt hurt Povetkin anyway, (the only chance he had was KO at that point). It didnt matter, Byrd was just taking a pounding.
