If you read all my first post I said Floyd is a talented fighter. From a pure skills standpoint, he's the best in the business. I was a Floyd cheerleader on this website before. I know how great of a fighter the man is. I've follwed him since the hernandez fight.

Now when you bring up Pac's recent opponents and compare them to Floyd, we can also look at Floyd's recent opponents and compare them to Pac.

Marquez- Common opponent. Lost to Pacquiao (at his proper weight) Didn't have a chance in hell against Floyd in the 140's.
Hatton- Common opponent, Quality win, but was beaten by Floyd at a weight class he didn't belong in.
Delahoya- Common opponent. Past it. 2 fights before got KO'd by Bernard Hopkins.
    Baldomir- Had 9 losses.
Judah- Had 3 losses (at the time) Coming off a loss to Baldomir.
Mitchell- 2 fights before got sparked by Kostya Tyszu.
Gatti- Had 6 losses, been beaten from pillar to post several times. Got title cherry picked by Floyd.
    Bruseles-
Corely- A descent fighter at the time, former titlist, been beaten easily by Judah.

See how easy it is to nitpick a fighters resume? All you have to do is look for excuses. It's that simple. You mentioning Pac's recent opponents (3 of them common) and say how they're not on Floyd's level doesn't really make any sense. Every fighter Floyd in recent time Floyd has beat, Pac can beat too. And the same goes for Floyd. He can beat everyone of Pac's recent opponents as well.

When you say Floyd is " FASTER, FAR BETTER DEFENSE, BIGGER, LONGER REACH AND "SMARTER!!!"

Maybe is all true for the exception of faster. They are both extremely quick at what they do. Pac's specialty is letting his hands go and unorthadox punching, and Floyd's specialty is precision & accuracy. You saying you don't know fast Pac really is kinda weird. All you have to do is watch and observe. It's really not that hard to do.

This is a fight between the best Boxer in the sport against the best Fighter in the sport. Hatton was a lineal champion, and was undefeated at 140 before facing Pac. Cotto was a top 3 welterweight and his only loss was contraversial.

For you to say Pac didn't fight: Bradley, the Peterson Brothers, and Devon Alexander (who would have all been smashed anyway) to fight guys like Marquez, Oscar, Hatton, & Cotto, who are all bigger fights is laughable. Bradley, The Peterson Bros, and Alexander are all good fighters but not ready for a Pac storm. I bet you were probably one of those people thinking Gamboa was ready for Pac to right?

Floyd didn't fight everybody either. There's ALOT of fights out there he's clearly staying away from. So don't sit behind your computer and act like Floyd is a fight whoever whenever type of guy like Pac is. Bottom line is Pac went and destroyed a fighter that was supposedly "feared" and was supposed to be to strong, but I will admit was a top 10 fighter in Cotto. I didn't know Pacquiao fighting Cotto meant he was avoiding competition like Tim Bradley, Devon Alexander, & the Peterson Bros:lol: We saw Floyd rather take time off from the sport than fight Cotto when he was the only fighter in 07 & 08 that made sense to fight next.

When you say "THIS WILL BE FLOYD'S EASIEST FIGHT!!!!" is cool with me. Do you remember how Floyd's defense is a little leaky against southpaws? Because you're the stereotypical fan that bought into a fighter being undefeated and think he can't lose. Floyd may very well win this fight, but... This is gonna be a FIGHT. Not a Floyd circus show like the Marquez EVENT. Manny Pacquiao has never fought a fighter like Floyd Mayweather. And Floyd Mayweather has never fought a fighter like Manny Pacquiao. There's always somebody out there for you.

He does, but not his fault people let him get away with all the bull**** he does and talks. Example: Why the **** are you callling a grown up man "Money"??? Is he a clown or something??
Can he beat Pacquiao?? I think he can. I also think Cotto could have beat Pacquiao. I think Cotto is destroying himself by taking fights against everybody but not training the proper way.
Manny and Floyd are gym rats. They live to train. Cotto trains because its his job. Still, he caused more damage to Manny than most people are willing to admit.

Floyd had all of those advantages over Hatton. Was Hatton Floyd's easiest fight?

Is Pacquiao an easier fight than Hatton for Floyd??

    I disagree.......

I totally agree. Margerito was alleged to have a granite chin because he walked through all of Cotto's punches. We witnessed Shane chop that tree down. No one thought Hopkins would stop Tito, Douglas would stop Tyson. It is not so much as being a puncher as breaking a fighter down. I hope Pac does not take that attitude in the fight that Floyd cant hurt him. Hatton stated that Floyd was a lot stronger than he thought.

Excellent post. On one of the previous forums, I asked who was the fastest fighter Pac has fought? I got no replies. Styles make fights, some people just dont get it.

We shall see. Mayweather is the first to stop Hatton. Paq has bested him twice though in same opponents. Stopping Hatton in two and DLH in eight. Mayweather bested Paq in the way he dominated Juan Manuel Marquez. Where as Paq struggled in a draw and a split decision win.
