I will NEVER recognize a catchweight fight as a good win

    Although two of those fights, the heavier guy failed to make weight so that doesn't really count IMO. There were a couple fights there I didn't realise were catchweights.

    didnt floyd say that he considered cotto an undefeated fighter when he fought him because he had loss to a plastered up margarito and pacman at a catchweight...just wondering

    so if thats the case according to floyds logic then canelo should be undefeated since he fought him at a catchweight

    cotto came in 146 in his last fight before facing pacman and he has also fought at 140

    if he has never fought below 147 then i could see your point but that was not the case

    Stupid thread.

    Both fighters agree, and they know tons more than you.

    Catch weight is a reasonable and acceptable compromise to make a fight.

    Suppose a plodder like Vlad came don to Cruiser at 195, and got beat up, you'd say he was wight drained.
