Roach and Penalosa are very confident they can and/or win this fight. Penalosa has never been stopped before. However he's 36 years old and far past his prime imo. Lopez is a young lion close to/in his prime.
He' still wiley and tough.....like a lower weight Hopkins in a way, it will definitely be impressive if he gets blown away like everyone else, he went the distance with Ponce De Leon for example. Hopefully though Penelosa can extend JuanMa and we can see a bit more of this kids character.
Penalosa is one tough mofo... i'll give full credit to juanma if he stops gerry in a brutal fashion... i still give gerry a chance againts juanma though.. who knows gerry still a dangerous opponent... its either juanma wins by UD or KO i still him a credit for beating a technically superb gerry penalosa
We should be..penalosa is one of the toughest boxers in the sport today, with a textbook old school style of fighting to..but i'm still rooting for juanma though, i'd like to see more fights of him!
