Fair play but you can't compare the two,on the radio the commentators were expecting the fight to be stopped early on so bad was the cut,we have to look at things subjectively and we've seen someone like Brook destroy their career for being brave against GGG who broke his face, the stoppage looked bad but only because it had been allowed to go on and by then you'd of thought theyed of just let it go
Yeah fair enough. It wasn't the worst stoppage by any means I just think a lot of fans are disillusioned with the direction boxing is heading and that stoppage was just the straw that broke the camels back after the Kovalev-Ward low blow fiasco.
The feints and movement alone would give Joshua fits. Add in the jab, ambidextrous capabilities, and inside fighting and Joshua would be in over his head against Fury. Fury is a special talent in my eyes.
An in shape Fury beats both Joshua and Wilder, "if" he is in shape! The stoppage by a criminal referee in the Joshua/Takam fight was bad, and the Kovalev Vs. SOB fight was the worst stoppage I have ever seen, by far! Do yourself a favor and watch this video, here is pure proof of the corruption in boxing. How do you stop a fight on three testicle blows in a row?! Well, SOB is a damned dirty fighter, he cheated like hell, owned the referee and boxing commission, Roc Nation is corrupt as hell. Remember the same night Rigo cheated by holding his opponent's head and hitting him, then landing a left hook clearly after the bell. Go back and watch Bob Bennett lie like hell, then Bennett lied about the SOB crimes! At least HBO called Bennett out for lying..................but HBO did not called Bennett out about Tony Weeks' criminal stoppage! The proof is so damned obvious, clear as hell! Max was an idiot! Did you hear Max ask SOB were those borderline low blows of low low blows? Knowing full well they were on the testicles! Paulie told it like it was, he said that this is the first time he has ever seen a fight stopped on low blows! Do yourself a favor and watch the proof! This content is protected
My biggest flaw I saw was Joshua was too heavy and could not cut the ring off an pin takam down, a fit fury with his movement causes him all kinds of trouble IMO.
Joshua is held to a much higher standard than other boxers. On the one hand it is fair enough when you consider the hype and money he is earning. On the other hand he virtually shut-out a solid top 10 contender in his 20th fight which he 'should' get credit for.
Long live the Joshua reign is what I say. He's always in exciting, action filled fights and his resume is getting better with each fight. He's only had 20 fights ffs. What more do you want? You really want to go back to having Clinch-ko doing his jab and grab and Valuev plodding about for years on end? Some people obviously like pain rather than pleasure.
Ridiculous thread, more than usual. I don't think your disillusioned by boxing, just that your heroes can and will loose so you are scared smelling like *****. If you're posting on a boxing forum you are still going to watch boxing so who is kidding who? Far as AJ goes, he has flaws that can be exploited, and anybody that knows a little about boxing and isn't blinded by hype can see. I have been saying his boxing isn't advanced, ring IQ, that AJ addressed DIRECTLY in his post fight comments isn't advanced either, let alone his stamina. My father used to say, anything with a heart beat can die. AJ is no god and this should've been obvious to anybody with an IQ above 50.
I liked your post for the second paragraph by the way, not the first half. He was annoyed right after the match, and was disillusioned, as I usually am after **** happens in this ridiculously corrupt sport.
When you have to hear the Sky Bot Adam Smith praising Joshua to the heavens without realising the flaws aswell, your bound to be pissed off. Also i am a joshua fan as you know.
I don't see what's the point getting too upset that water is wet, this is pro sports after all. I still think many are just getting upset at the possibility of their favorites loosing so I'm not exactly taking curiously timed comments like from the op very seriously. Also boxing really needs to change this woe is me attitude, as if boxing is unique to corruption. Every major sport has had pervasive issues, certainly the ones I pay attention to.
What can I say? WBC making Stiverne mandatory, then making the winner of Breazeale/Molina mandatory! WBC is corrupt to the core. Yes, perhaps everyone should boycott boxing and see how well Oscar the cheated does. Oscar has cheated Golovkin out of a fight with Saunders so El Pollo can fight him, left Golovkin without a fight..............and it goes on and on and on.............
