Froch was very static in that fight, and he seemed stiff

ive seen much better from him

i believe his conditioning wasnt all there.

so those betting against Froch could be in for a surprise.

I dont think it was his conditioning, it was more Dirrell's speed that gave him trouble. I also think Froch will win. Kessler was schooled in his fight with Ward and he might not be the same fighter he once was.

And the Abraham that faced Dirrell is not the usual Abraham...also the Kessler that faced Ward was not the usual Kessler. True that.

I dont buy that, Dirrell was just very fast and elusive and Froch simply didn't have the skill to get near him.

Kessler on the other hand is a different fight altogether.

Direll just showed us all one more time how limited Froch really is! With regards to Ward schooling Kessler, I imagine constant headbutts without consequence would unsettle anyone. I was glad to see Kessler aknowledging changes were needed and then bringing in Montoya, with that im going to give Kessler the benefit of the doubt and predict the Kessler of old comes to fight :bbb Kessler three years ago would have put Froch in hospital :deal

Yes Ward did lead with his head at some points in the fight, but if you look at it round by round Ward schooled him. When the fight was stopped i had Ward winning all but 2 rounds. I think it was just before coming out for the 8th that Kessler complained he could no longer see out of his eye. The official score cards at that time was 6-1 in Ward's favour. That's a schooling in my books

Dirrell made him look stiff and robotic because Dirrell is so slippery and fast on his feet. Froch made the fight closer than AA did with Dirrell and showed that he can stay disciplined in keeping the pressure on.

The Dirrell that fought Froch was not the same Dirrell that fought Abraham. Because if it was, Dirrell would have made Froch look even more poor on the night, and would have left no doubt as to who the rightful winner was

I hate to use the 'e' word, but Dirrell's style exposed Froch's limitations. It wasn't a case of Froch not performing to his usual standard. I don't think.

I also think Froch was frustrated by Dirrells continual spoiling tactics and refusal to engage, A quick technical fighter is always going to cause Froch problems its the nature of the beast but Dirrells tactics made for a horrible ugly fight that neither man looked good in. Froch vs Kessler will be an interesting fight though . I'm not sure Kessler is as good as we and i Include myself believe. Theres a lot of euro bums on his record and he lost fairly comprehensivly to calzaghe and ward

Any top fighter has a decent amount of bums on his conscience. You can call them Eurobums or trailertrash. It doesn't change the fact that all top fighters has punched their way through a decent amount of soso competition.

Lets face it, Kessler has fought more than most. Especially given his ability as a fighter!

True but the only times he's stepped beyond that level he's lost yet everyone still thinks of him as this great fighter that was favourite for the super six
