Like him or not, his ability to overcome adversity is 2nd to none. He fights through cuts better than anyone I have seen before. He cuts a lot never seems to faze him.

Yeah. I think it has to do with the training that Nacho puts him through. And also cause he has lots of heart

His footwork is quite good , he punches well with either hand , he mixes up his punches very well, one of the most accurate punchers I've ever seen, able to make adjustments during a fight, when his opponent is hurt he is not reckless but finishes very well. In spite of his losses to world class champions he is probably the best active classic textbook boxer around. I hope he retires , on top , after a great win.

Retire? Marquez has waited his whole life to be where he is right now. No way he retires.

JMM is a true warrior. I was impressed. I am happy that JMM won. It only proves that Pac has beaten a highly superior fighter in JMM.

This is the Ali vs. Frazier of our time...

Diaz had a cut which was much worse than JMM even though it was the same location. The kind of cut Diaz had is rare for a guy to fight through. Marvin Hagler had one similar to that with Hearns where it is a red sheet coming down the face. Once that type of cut starts it rarely stops. Had Diaz not been cut I think it is possible he would have won that fight tonight.

His ability to fight through a broken nose and three first round knockdowns makes him second to none. The man is a great fighter, in my view a legend (forgive me if I am overstepping it a bit).

    Barrera?

    I think you're mistaken, Bacon.
