If Cotto fights DLH and loses you still think he should fight Cotto?

im a big floyd fan and i think he should fight Cotto for fans sake however he doesnt need Cotto because Floyd has done so much already in boxing no matter how you cut it....i defnitely want to see the fight though.

Now as far as the fight.....Cotto just doesnt close the gap fast enough however...his jab will be long and firm which will cause Floyd to change up a little....this is where inside fighting comes to play until Cotto disdains the jab. Floyd will lure him in....like in the Hatton fight...he turns his shoulder towards you in a tight philly shell soons as you get close or try and pucnh he ducks low and comes up in your chest....this is where he will eat Cotto alive with UPPERCUTS which Cotto is so prone to. The punch which wont work on Cotto the lunging hooks because Cotto keeps his head tucked and low with his mits on each side of his chin. However of course Floyd is smart and has an arsenal and will shoot jabs to the midsection and after he has Cotto worried about that he will start shooting straigght rights down the pike where Cotto leaves open.

However im a little concerned because i am actuallys tarting to believe that right now at Welter...i can't see anyone who can beat Mayweather...not to say they dont have chances or they dont pose a problem they all do...however Floyd is cut from past ATG's man i mean he is a lot of ATG's combined right now its ridiculous. Its kind of like MJ....no matter what you did to MJ he found a way to score his offense was just to much you couldnt stop him you could only hope he has an off day.

People also to seem to forget Floyd will have a decent reach advantage over Cotto.

right but this was a mosley who head was high and walking basically no head movemnt...you'd be crazy to think Floyd would allow that jab to be effective.

Shane was also 36. And Floyd is faster then Shane, Cotto struggled with him.

So far you are like 0-5 against Floyd. And everytime you pick against him, every fight has had the right tools to do it but has failed.

But out of everyone who has faced and lost to Cotto....not one person that Cotto beat was Floyd Mayweather!....Not that I'm on his coin pouch or anything.....the fact remains that Floyd is a pure boxer and the best this era has witnessed. The reach is the least of cotto's concerns when and if he faces Floyd.....Cotto didn't out jab Mosley the entire night....the fight wasn't made up of either men impelmenting the jab as a major weapon in their match up. Both men threw very little amounts of jabs and they were pretty evenly matched. Check out the compubox numbers, they should support.
