100% agree. The people that have been there seen it & done it will tell you if you are good enough & ready.Sparring will tell yourself & your team where you are at. The beauty of your situation is that you have time on your side so no rush bonne chance jeune homme!
If you are only 18 i wouldnt rush, you have time to learn and get to where you want before you turn however that being said.... you can take ur time as a pro build your way up fighting bums and the such, you could win those fights easily... however gotta keep your goal in mind? do you want to be world champ? then id say wait a little longer perfect a few more things that way you dont have to learn on the job so to speak.
Yes i dream to be champion of the world, my father left me like a dog, like that he will see i become someone alone. In reality i don't like boxing, i continue because if one day i will be a champ, my father will say " oh i left my son and now he is better than my others sons"
You need to have something to drive you, try to find what little joy in it you can tho, life is to long to go thru it doing something you dont enjoy
Thank you very much my friend. Today i did 6 rounds of sparring with a challenger EBU in 2007 and 2009. And he was champion of france 2 years ago.
just some random video from championship of moscow I watched recently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLMkwGwrlFE This is championship of Moscow only, not Russian, Not Europe, not World, but... these guys will KILL you, and you are going to turn pro? Visit Russia any average gym there, spar a bit, I am sure you will change your mind. You just want to attract attention. There is nothing bad about it, as long as you are not fooling youtself. I suggest you getting 100 fights and compete at least at european championship before you even think of turning pro
"You just want to attract attention " Sorry I have other things to do than try to attract attention. And these guys on the video will kill me ? How do you know if i have never fight with them , but don't forget i am only 18 fights and these boys are 80 or more Russian fight are very lucky, they fight every saturday not like in my country.
I am sorry, I guess I was to harsh on you. If you have a dream, go for it regardless what people tell you. However, boxing is hard, pro boxing is very cruel business, so you gotta be ready mentally and physically before you start.
