I wish Amir Khan had an iron chin. He would be in some absolutely wars.

Would be great. The guy just can't help it, when he gets tagged he just goes into war mode - imagine the fights he could be in.

Yeah in hindsight this is a pretty weak thread. I might have to change it before any of you notice.

    He's still in wars.

The Maidana fight was a war, and Maidana was but a crude b-level slugger with an iron resolve. Khan can still have some great fights, just not against elite opposition, he'll get lit up by punchers.

That's exactly what I mean. He'd have some wars against elite opponents.

Couldn't think of anything interesting to change the thread to before someone responded.

Maybe he should stop ducking Kell Brook.

That'd be an interesting fight to say the least.

Yeah, he'd be fun to watch if he had a good chin. Still is, even with a bad chin, though: There is that element of suspense, like watching 2012 Jones Jr. fight a Polish featherduster.

Tommy Morrison was a huge draw because of his defensive flaws and his china chin, matched with his hellacious offense.

A glass chin isn't the end of the world, it just means you're likely not going to be an elite fighter, or an entertaining one at least.

It will be interesting to see how Amir Khan has transformed (If he even has) under Virgil.. if Virgil has knocked some sense into him and built his neck muscles.. we could see a new Amir Khan.. BUT it will only be a matter of time before his chin is tested again.. it's not like under Virgil he'll never get caught

He's quite handy on the inside, isn't he :yep.

Interested in seeing how Khan deals with that. Here's a sneak peak of the build-up show to the fight:
