I wish Amir Khan had an iron chin. He would be in some absolutely wars.

Khan definitely could be fine if he learns to calm down and fight properly when under fire. But that doesnt change the fact that he has one of the weakest chins of any boxer on his level

**** off with that ****, Brook has never fought anyone, likes of carson jones are bums, HE IS A 147 fighter, Khan is a 140 fighter, If Khan moves up and doesnt fight kell in his first couple of fights, only then can you claim he is ducking Brook

Realistically khan has less than 8 fights left at the top - 3/4 years, but I think he realises that aswell

Khan should've joined the UK cycling team for the Olympics following the PEDerson fight.

He is what he is. An extremely flawed champ in a weak era, who makes for some entertaining fights.

Enjoy him for making some good fights and don't expect him to be some "e-light" (to quote the great late Manny Steward) fighter. He doesn't have it in him. Not the ring IQ, technical skills, fluidity, instincts. There's much more to boxing than having fast hands.

Otherwise, Howard Davis would've long made his entrance into Canastota, Hector Camacho Sr. would've been a top 3 all-time, and Carlos Monzon and Marvin Hagler would've just been decent fighters.

If you expect him to be some P4P star, you'll be sorely dissapointed. If you expect to see some wild entertaining fights, then you're more likely to be satisfied.

Yeah he's taken quite a bit of punishment for a young guy. With his style and the wear-and-tear on his body, I don't know how long he can continue fighting as one of the top guys in his division.

Everyone ages differently, so who knows really?

Khan v Maidana was a great fight. Let's hope he can learn some new tricks.

The OP is kinda right. I can imagine khan being in wars like Barrera-Morales etc with top tier fighters if his chin wasnt so pants. The way his brain operates is one of a juggernaut but sadly his physical make up is nothing of the sort

He might just end up being even sloppier with no chances of ever improving anything and getting stopped later.

Yes because the thread title reads 'I wish Amir Khan was a better boxer. He would be in some absolutely wars.'

Also very classy with that avatar, you would think most people would have the common deceny to have changed it by now :patsch
