Every damn round. He gets worse and worse with putting emphasis on this meaningless system.

    "Compubox had it..."

"this is supported by compubox numbers"

Casual fans probably believe Compubox is accurate and actually proves a lot. Hell, some idiots on this forum actually said "we have Compubox, we don't need judges".

    And they seemed serious!

Lampley used to be a very good commentator. Now he is sporadically good.

Speaking as a Mayweather fan, even i got sick and tired of how he used to go on and on about Mayweather's 'plus/minus Compubox rating'

How can a supposed boxing expert in Lampley trust Compubox so much and doesn't get that people are the ones that are counting punches on compubox it is the oppposite of exact or scientific, it is just idiotic.
Lampley is becoming worse as each fight goes by

Lampley, Kellerman, and Lederman suck, always have, HBO boxing in general has gone to ****. Compubox numbers are useless as too many blocked punches are counted as landed punches.

If people don't like the commentary then fair enough but it's not like the other network doesn't use "showstats".

Not a huge deal in my opinion. As long as it's not Papa and Kellerman teaming up I can deal.

I think it can be a nice addition, but even that system is open to very flawed observation. I tend to score a fight how I see it, then perhaps look at those numbers post-fight as a side-interest.

Some people seem to take it as factual or meaningful though. It isn't. I think it's one of the reasons there's so much outrage and perceived "robberies" nowadays.

the worst thing about the whole thing was that straight after the fight they were already trying to sell the third fight. it was a decent fight, why try to make it out as FOTY epic war, saying **** like, 'well I can't wait till many pacquiao and tim Bradley square off for a third time' just pisses me off. thank god most of the big fights are on showtime now.

lampley and hbo's agenda is so obvious it's sickening. i am a pacquiao fan...but the cheerleading turns me off to the network. i've always liked showtime more.

i don't need the assclown trying to convince me of what i'm seeing using compubox, his occasional yelling and lederman. u can keep that ****.

Well, Lampley probably doesn't trust his eyes too much, now that he seems to be wearing eyeglasses often, hence the reason he is dependent on COmpubox...

Compubox is why dumb people think Calzaghe actually stood a chance in his fight against Hopkins although Joe clearly lost

Compubox are just reference points, whats wrong with that? Majority of the time, compubox numbers coincides with what we see in the ring.
