What are you talking about? Kobe is ine of the few throwback NBA plyays left. Lebron has nowhere close to that kind of focus or tenacity, not to mention a jumper. Never disband the L.A. Lakers baby or the C's. Count the rings. LeBron got mo throwback in him than all but the following playas: KB24, KG, Paul Pierce, CP3, Steve Nash and Grant Hill. OH and this kid in Okie KD35!

Floyd and Pac are two highly recognized stars who are rivals in the same weight class, who have not fought one another yet. What do you expect? Until these two men fight there will always be debates about them. This type of thing would happen no matter the era between two rivals in the same weight class. If one was a heavyweight star and the other was a welterweight star then the debate between the two wouldn't be so strong.

 

I was never around in those days but it would have been nice and what I was looking for. I had never even heard stupid ass terms like ***** and ******* until I came here, its ridiculous. I thought this would be a place to talk to other boxing fans about fights and all that, not a fan boy battle site.

 

Well, Floyd had retired before but came back because of overwhelming demand from fans for him to fight an old and bloated lightweight!

 

prob is, there are alot of very talented fighters...and no one wants to risk fighting anyone that could be an equal unless guaranteed the prize of forever wealth....
so my wish is for guys like mayweather and haye to find their balls and fight opponents people will talk about ...not 38 year old wash up stiffs

 

The Problem is THE CASUAL FAN!!! There are plenty of Floyd and Pacquiao fans who have intelligently debated a possible fight between the two. As well as having conversation, opinions, debates about other fights, fighters, events, trainers, prospects and more. This is still the BEST BOXING WEBSITE OUT THERE with extremely knowledgeable Fight Fans...PERIOD!!! However, Manny Pacquiao has been great for Boxing...Just BAD FOR BOXING FORUMS. Because the Large Majority of his fans are Casual Fans. The only thing they know about Boxing is that they LOVE MANNY PACQUIAO AND HATE FLOYD MAYWEATHER!!! That's why you have these ridiculous thread titles like:

"FLOYD IS GAY"
"FLOYD VS TONYA HARDING...WHO WINS"
"MANNY PACQUIAO VS JACK BAUER"
"MANNY IS JESUS CHRIST IN EVERLAST GLOVES"
"THE MAYWEATHERS ARE CRACKHEADS"

No self-respecting boxing fan would waste their time creating a thread like that nor even posting in a thread like that. But those threads get 10 pages of "other casual fans" complementing the TS for creating COMIC GOLD....REALLY? Real Boxing Fans are way too occupied with creating threads or posting about the solid number of up-coming fights, potential fights, prospects, rankings, events in the Sport of Boxing.

And for the record...I made several threads about how the General Forum has been ruined by these CASUAL FANS!!!
