    Funny article, actually.

Arum had the same attitude about the Margarito fight. Any criticisms about the selection of opponents, post Cotto, are completely warranted, IMO. None of those were fights the fans were clamoring for. And neither is this one. Pac is also responsible. He's a grown man...if it's a fight he absolutely did not want, he would speak up about it. He spoke up when they were trying to match him with Yuri Foreman...saying he was "too tall", etc. They are all part of this sham. I will fight Flop Stank in the only way I can...by holding on to my money.

And really...people need to stop using the Floyd fight not happening as an excuse, for the very obvious cherrypicking of opponents by Team Pacquiao. There are a lot of hungry opponents lining up to fight Pac, so he is never without an option of making 10 - 20 million, at this point. But, if the next fight (after Mosely) is against Cotto...really...how will anyone defend this? Oh wait...I know...just blame Floyd.

    :think

Enough people know that I love Pacquiao as a fighter, but I'm being honest I really didn't want this as his first choice after Mayweather. Personally, I don't think Mayweather will ever fight Pacquiao and that's his loss. This fig was preference: Berto, Bradley, Marquez (at 147lb limit) and Mosley.

Oh, well Pacquiao says he has at least 3 or 4 good fights in him. Hopefully, the next one will be close to what the boxing public wants. :hat

playing impartial is good for reporting.
