I wonder if Tank might not take it now? Loma is hittable, and Tank hits harder than anyone.

The ref arguably saved JCR from a KO defeat too

Miguel Vazquez: ‘Josh Taylor is the most powerful opponent I’ve fought’

“It was a unique experience to face such a strong opponent like Taylor and I would be honoured to come back to the UK and fight as many times as I can,” the Mexican said. “He’s a very strong fighter. He has all the tools that a fighter needs.”

Of all the opponents he has fought, and that includes a very young Canelo Alvarez, Vazquez says, “Timothy Bradley has been the most outstanding, technically speaking. But the most powerful was actually Josh Taylor''

Rougarou said Taylor is a big puncher too

''I really caught a glimpse of what was to come when Josh was out with me in Las Vegas ahead of my fight with Leo Santa Cruz in 2017. Josh was sparring former world welterweight champion Shawn Porter, ahead of only his eighth fight, and I remember thinking, 'This guy is unreal' because he bossed the spar.''

''When Josh Taylor used to spar the gym came to a standstill.. unbelievable stuff! I remember seeing him as a pretty green novice professional sparring Shawn Porter in Shawn Porter's gym and punching his head in''

    Wins 19
    Wins by KO 13
He has to land a ton of shots to stop fighters.

He punches similar to former WBO 160/168 champ Steve Collins used to, not with his whole weight etc.

Shouldn't the title of the video but "Tank might take it now" instead of "Tank might not take it now".

    Most fighters do

    Even many KO artists do

Postol had never been stopped. He was subsequently stopped in the dying seconds of the final round of his last fight when way past his best and it was a ridiculous stoppage

Baranchyk had never been stopped. He's subsequently been stopped but Taylor dropped him x 2

    Rougarou has never been stopped

    Catterrall has never been stopped

Alfonso Olvera has never been stopped

Taylor was the first man to stop Vazquez

He's is the only man to stop Davies, Martin and Khongsong

JCR was dropped x 2 and the ref arguably saved him from a stoppage loss with a long count

I'm not saying Taylor's a KO artist but he definitely hits hard

Ask Khongsong's broken ribs and ruptured spleen how the feel

that doesn't say anything. what exactly are you talking about? is his stance wrong, rotation, balance, what? surely theres specific things you see being done wrong, otherwise, why pretend you know what youre talking about?

"PRIME" Loma either KO's Tank or adds Tank to the list of guys who quit on their stool. And the current version of Loma would probably do same.

What does Shields have to do with your wrong AJ going to KO Usyk prediction????

Lomo not getting KO anytime soon. He has that chin like Broner actually better than Broner

The knee jerk reactions are hilarious. Is Loma aging? Yeah. But that's not exactly what we saw the other night. I'm going to give it to you straight. What we saw was a Loma who actually stopped being a boxer for awhile and did his national guard duty in the Ukraine. I think he called it "territorial defense." But it's basically the US equivalent of the National Guard. So he was out of a gym.

Is Loma getting older? Absolutely. He can't train as hard as he used to. That's just a fact. But that's like 1/10 of the reason for the performance the other night.

Not only was he NOT training for a significant amount of time, he came to the US and was going around to events and shows. I saw him at several boxing matches. I saw him going to fundraiser events for the Ukraine. He was doing "side missions" to raise money for the Ukraine. And I had a feeling that this was going to bite him in the ass, especially when he's doing this weeks before the fight. Was he sleeping on Ortiz? I have no idea, but it kind of seemed like it.

Speaking of Ortiz, this kid is not a 135 pound guy. He's a 140 pound guy. Of course, Nakatani is arguably a 140 pound guy too, but these size differences are significant, as they always have been, especially when you get hit as infrequently as Loma.

Ortiz trained with Loma but pretended to be Commey. Loma never really sparred the real Ortiz but Ortiz sparred the real Loma. That let Ortiz put together an exceptional plan to beat Loma. Then you add to that Ortiz's natural athleticism, youth, speed, and awkwardness (he is extremely awkward to fight), you have a guy that had the potential to cause Loma many problems. And he did cause Loma problems. I think that people are crapping on Ortiz because he lost to Boots and Lopez during the amateurs. You should go watch those amateurs fights because he barely lost to Boots. Second, is the Ordono fight, where he was knocked down twice. The first knockdown was a flash knockdown. Really he tripped. The second one he fell into the ropes, never touched canvass. And in that eight round fight, he won every round to make it a draw on two judges' cards and win on the third. He retired Herring and gave Herring a boxing lesson.

I'm saying this because people are saying that Loma got old overnight and has ZERO chance of beating Haney now. But you can see that there are specific reasons for what we saw and people are looking at Ortiz as if he's a scrub who Loma should have knocked out. Kid was undefeated and can hang with the best. I also find US amateur record suspect because of knowing how the business works, with some of the most corrupt scoring you'll ever see.

Is the Haney fight going to be difficult? Of course. Could Loma lose? Of course he could lose to Haney. But is it very possible that Loma still beats Haney? Of course. The odds are that the Loma we see when he returns is going to be much better than the Loma from last night. And to be honest, I scored that fight 116 - 112 for Loma. It was a draw at the eighth round for me, then Loma just took the last four rounds. Loma stole the kids will to fight after the eighth round and going into the ninth he was done.

There is no other sport where you see so many kneed jerk reactions. People are so swayed by group think that it is sometimes frightening. Last time I saw this was when the world said Canelo was going to run through and stop Bivol. The insanity you find in this sport is incredible.

Look at how little weight he gets into his shots v Catteral, he doesn`t move his head while punching.

I feel Shields won convincingly v Marshall but missed 90% of her shots, I feel it was a good fight.

you still aren't saying anything. so tell me, what would you have him do, so that he gets weight into his shots, that he isn't doing already? there must be something you saw that made you say, "hes not getting weight into his shot", what was it that you saw?
