Just surprised/confused at your appetite for the rematch based purely on the controversey.

Not dismissing your comment but it's (the rematch) not for me. I think their styles could easily make for another controversial decsion which we could do without.

very good point.. the last thing we need is a repeat of Saturday..

My reason for me wanting to see it is I honestly think Dirrell might actually exchange alot more after what he learnt in this fight which would be interesting to watch..

I can understand why the Froch fans wouldn't want to see it.. I think alot of people supporting Dirrell would..

i too would like to see a rematch of one of the shittest title fights in history, wherein the challenger ran around the ring like he was terrified and the champion plodded after him whilst looking like he'd never boxed before in his life.

Yes, the decision was controversial but as many people had Froch winning as had Dirrell winning. And that's no reason to go through that kind of pain again. Just as with the JC/Bhop horror

David don't want to see it cause he knows this time Dirrell won't move alot and won't hold alot in which this time Dirrell will tko Froch late. Dirrell will still use his boxing skills but he'll do it with out moving and holding alot.

^^^I'm surprise nobody that keep saying Dirrell was running that in the last 3 rounds (after the point deduction) that Dirrell didn't run alot. In fact in those rounds he stand more and landing big shots after big shots in which twice stunned Froch. In the 10th Froch look like Judah after the big shot by Dirrell. And the last 2 rounds was the first time for Dirrell to be in it.

Okay, so we're in agreement that he ran like a ***** for the first 9 whole round then. Hurt yes, stunned no, and the Judah comparison is laughable. He hurt Froch, whose legs buckled. Dirrell leaped on him and in all of 2 seconds Froch was swinging back and Dirrell was heading for the hills/doing his spiderman impression. For the record I thought Dirrell nicked a close fight by fighting like a coward, but I have no problem with Froch winning as boxing is a sport, which is a form of entertainment, and rewarding Dirrell's style of fighting just puts more nails in boxing's coffin. If Dirrell had started the fight as he ended it, he could have very well won.

Yeah agree that it would have been a completely different fight had Dirrell engaged more often. I thought that on the few ocassions he did stand and trade he actually had Froch in trouble. Too fast. Not 100% sure he'd change his approach though. . .

    Fair argument though.:thumbsup

Only thing that allows a rematch to happen (beyond meeting later in tourney) is if Dirrell looks more interesting in his upcoming fights. Even then, there simply isn't a good draw for Froch to do it if Dirrell isn't a mandatory. I'd be reasonably interested - does Dirrell learn the lesson, does Froch actually form a plan? But I doubt tv would be too interested and there's no reason Froch would be (there's good depth in the division, he wouldn't "need" the fight for marketable opponent).
