Do you think he is still sitting at home thinking he deserves 50% when AJ has just announced nearly 200k tickets for next two fights... Not sure Wilder would sell out in Alabama
He's probably thinking "Wow, it's so weird that he asked for 50Mil and we offered 50Mil but yet we still aren't fighting and the 24hr deadline issues by the WBA seems to be absolute nonsense, as if it was put in place to allow AJ to squeeze more fights in. Looking forward to the Whyte rematch after he gets suspect cards against Parker" at a guess
He's probably thinking Hearn is a complete dumbass for announcing that he is applying for a 100k Wembley capacity in April when: (a) There is a strong, strong chance that my G Povetkin will KTFO Joshua this year; and (b) That 100k attendance is dependent on a Wilder fight happening, so all that's happened is that Wilder's bargaining power has increased.
He's not happy, Hearn is going to play off Wilder and Fury for the April date and force one of them to accept short money.
Agreed. Wilder's profile is now 5 x what is was 4 weeks ago, which can only be a good thing for his bank balance irrespective of whether it's through endorsements or future ticket sales. The reason AJ has to fight him at some point, what with Fury looking garbage, is there's simply not enough high-calibre opponents left for him to secure a retirement fund that he will be happy with. A bit like GGG choosing to fight Canelo this time around when he soundly beat him the first time and knows it's likely there will be skullduggery in September.
Force them how? You're only worth what someone's willing to pay, not the fantasy numbers people just pull out of their arse.
If povetkin wins it will be povetkin rematch in front of 100k. If Joshua wins it will be Joshua versus the best opponent who has got the sense to take the deal in front of 100k.
I don't know what's written in the contract but Povetkin is AJ's mandatory and therefore there should be no rematch clause. When Povetkin KTFOs Joshua, there won't be a rematch. But if there is one, it will sure as **** take place in Russia.
Nobody can read Wilder's hybrid mind, not sure anyone would want to. But I'd assume it would be similar to the five stages of grief. Denial - "Clearly fake news, all roads lead to Deontay, they won't do this" Anger - "WTF, dammit, I'm the A-Side, they better not, or i'll, Buummmsqauaad!!!" Bargaining - "What if I agree to 49%, they'll take agree to that right? Okay at a stretch I'll agree 45% if they throw in a bag of weed and Eddie Hearn tucks me in and reads me a bed time story about how I became the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, you know a fairy tale, when I go to sleep afterwards." Depression - "But, but....why....would...they...sobs...Shirley please hug me, why doesn't anyone love me or even know who I am, please tell me Shirley?" Acceptance - "Wait you mean I'm the B-side?.....I'm the B-side and nobody cares.....better go grovel for Sept 2019."
Plenty of mando's sign off on rematch clauses. It wouldn't surprise me if Povetkin took it, it's a lot of money to be made, more than Povetkin would make anywhere else against anyone else.
I dont know but its only a matter of time before he starts thinking, Finkel, the advisor who takes a nifty cut of the money i fight for, just how good is this advice of yours again?
