I know it is a mandatory. I also know this mandatory didn't go to purse bids so it will not be a standard mandatory agreement. Povetkin is 38 and will be delighted to have a rematch in UK should he win. What do you think he will do try and find a bigger fight? The rematch would be a far bigger fight than the first and Povetkin would be in line for something in region of 50-50 in rematch. At this stage of his career he is not going to mess around. If he wins, the rematch is worth approx. $25m to him.

Unless someone takes Joshua to purse bids and wins, every Joshua fight will have a rematch clause. This isn't because Joshua is scared this is obviously standard practice for someone of Joshua's standing within the sport.

Also given Joshua's current position of strength within the division and some of the curious test results that have occurred in Russia over the years. I think it is more likely Joshua has agreed to a rematch with his hands tied behind his back than a rematch in Russia.

I think Povetkin has a good chance of beating Joshua. 30%-35%

You know it’s funny, both these guys could make quite a bit of cash doing so. I’m sure it would be easier to make as a fight. Neither is committed to anything at the moment. Both stand to gain a lot by winning and be in a much stronger position to negotiate with AJ. They should consider it.

Hearn and AJ are puttting on historic events, imagine the legacy of fighting in front of over 100k in one night. The only lasting memory of Wilder will be his nonsensical Twitter rants.

Yeah, this was my thought, especially B. Not wise to book Wmbley for next year unless Wilder is the opponent. That gives Wilder alot more leverage.

I'd honestly rather see Fury Wilder than AJ Wilder. I wish it would happen, don't think it will though
