    Richard Schaefer, CEO of De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions, said the fighter already is in excellent condition.

    “He’s made the weight. He’s really strong. He tells me he’s got a great chef who makes him some great omelets, and he loves running at night,” Schaefer said. “So the things he’s needed to do, he’s done.”

    If DLH wins! Congrats to DLH! NO EXCUSES! PAC lost to a better man!

    All it can say is PAC did his best but his best wasn't good enough.

    On the other hand, if PAC wins.. I wonder what will Richard Scheafer will say and the legion of DLH fans and Pac haters.........

    Let me start...

    That DLH fight was a farce and Pac should have just rematched JMM or foguht Campbell.

    This thread is stupid.

    If Pac wins he'll have conquered The Richest Man in Boxing. He'll be the little hero who slayed the money grubbing giant.

    I don't think even the staunchest Pac hater would be whining if that happened.

    it kinda balances it out u know. dela hoya only 18 months ago SD the p4p 1 mayweather at light middle weight and now is fighting a much smaller guy who doesnt even make dela hoyas weight wen he's at a pizza hut buffet. so if anyone is at a disadvantage its pacman.

    I'm going to tow the Golden Boy Promotions party line..
    Pac is a dangerous opponent, the favourite for the fight, if Oscar wins it will make his legacy greater. :oops:

    I don't think a guy who's fought 5 times in the last 10 years is shot. lol. However, I'm thinking that him trying to get down to 147 might effect him in a negative way, but then again Pacquaio was fighting at 130 pounds less then a year ago so I see no excuses.

    Both are at a disadvantage and won't be at their best. Which is why the fight is not good. Neither is in his ideal weight class. PAc is too small. Oscar is too old.

    Its a big disadvantage for pacman if he losses its not a big deal cause its a unfair fight for him but if de la hoya losses its going to be embarrassing and funny if he gets ko
