I wonder who Tiger Flowers thought was greater between Langford and Greb...

In 1922, Flowers was stopped in the 2nd by Langford.

In 1924, Flowers was beaten over 10 rounds by Greb.

In Langford's next fight after Flowers, his weight is given as 185lbs. When Greb fought Flowers, his weight was 167lbs. I assume Flowers would have believed that he found Langford more difficult to deal with than Greb because Sam weighed around 20lbs more.

So, it would have been interesting to ask him who he thought was the greater fighter pound-for-pound. Also, it's fascinating to ponder what would have happened if Greb and Langford had met in the ring around this time.

(also, I noticed when perusing Flowers's record that he beat a guy called Gorilla Jones. The names were so much better in those days!!)
