Actually, I predicted that Hopkin's political/religious advisors were probably persuading him from fighting a "white" christian.

This: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NtB0gD6O_Ak basically proves my prediction

For you who are unaware of the politics behind boxing here is just a few minutes of googling. It kinda started with Hitler and ended up with the Christian hating far-left.

Do these powerful black supremacist have strong ties in the boxing world and can black athletes make them look supreme?

The most obvious answer to these questions lies with Muhammad Ali’s relationship with the Nation of Islam. Malcom x who was Ali’s first Islamic advisor said that Ali’s boxing represented Muslim supremacy. Ali himself thought he was supreme to darker non-Muslim, Afro-Americans. Herbert Muhammad, eldest son of nation of Islam became Ali’s advisor. Most of Ali’s money went to the Nation of Islam rip-offs and Don King. Don King and members of the Nation of Islam often worked hand in hand to rip off the illiterate Ali. Money issues were among the reasons that Ali fought Holmes, succumbed to brain damage, and yet still shorted 1 million.
