honestly this is one fight where i absolutely believe shouldve been a draw. still, anyone could make an argument for either fighter.

they really should do a rematch. :good

I was rooting for Martinez and thought he lost 115-113. Lampley just kept praising Martinez but didn't mention anytime Paul landed good shots. at one point, PW landed his jab 2 or 3 times clearly and Jim said they all missed.

same thing happened in the Malignaggi fight with Kellerman. pauli missed a lot of shots and max would make it sound like he was peppering Diaz with everything he threw all the while disregarding any of the several flush punches Diaz landed.

Both good fights, both deserved rematches, and both of the right fighters won.

martinez didn't even look upset at the decision. he only seemed upset at the 119-110 score. sergio knew williams was wearing him down late. he showed mad heart and it coulda went either way but he didn't get malinaggi'd.

I would agree on that. I felt that the Diaz-Paulie fight could have gone either way. (I had it a draw) There was a legit scorecard, somewhat of a stretch scorecard, and a complete utter bull**** scorecard. This fight I had Paul Williams winning, and there were actually two legit scorecards, and one complete utter bull**** scorecard. Really, if they actually got the scoring toned down nobody would complain about either fight and we could actually enjoy these two fights (especially this one) but there's gotta be this dark cloud that hangs over because of one bull**** scorecard in each fight.

    The 119 -110 scorecard is outrageous . . . out of this world . . . but still it's not a robbery.

That's the kind of fight that both fighters can claim robbery who ever gets the win because a lot of rounds were competitive and closely contested.

    I had it 7 - 5 for Williams but 7 -5 for Martinez is very much acceptable . . . 2 rounds swing.

    114 -114 and 115 -113 is for real. :deal

I seriously had that mother ****er a draw...If forced I'd say Martinez (the 119-110 scorecard is quit hitting the pipe bad)...I thought that was one of the best fights I seen this year though...high skill level, interesting syle contrast, ballsy...not the foty but should get brought up...
