I worked out why FW rushed to Fury vs Wilder

This was the big tip off to me.

Fury was adamant he would not be rushed, he mentioned Ali in multiple interviews and how two fights simply wasn't enough and he knew that and knew he wasn't going to be back at his best for 4-5 fights.

Then BEFORE he even fought Pianeta they agreed the Wilder fight.

Yes, off the back of that performance vs Seferi they agreed to fight Wilder.

It's either my theory, OR frank thinks this guy doesn't have it anymore so may as well take a bit of a payday while it's there.

This is why I'm finding it hard to get excited for the fight, I really want to believe fury is ready for this but it's nearly impossible. What shocks me are the odds in the bookies, coral had AJ 1/8 on against povetkin, last time I looked fury was 11/8 and wilder 4/6; Similar to AJ Klitscho with AJ favourite. Wouldn't lump on wilder though.

There’s still a little way to go before the fight and I just sense there’s gonna be a twist still to all this......I wouldn’t be shocked if there was an injury pull out and I think that will have a lot to do with how Fury looks in camp with a couple of weeks to go.

Fury loses this fight I just can’t see he would want to fight again unless it was a rematch to prove a close loss wrong.

There might be a good bit of truth in this but I believe ultimately it was Tyson's choice.

Worked it out, did you? What formula did you use? Are you long qualified in working out why fighters and promoters take fights?

You worked out nothing. You've an opinion, and a silly one at that. Fury could kill 10,000 audience members with boredom and the Wilder and AJ fights would still be blockbusters. He's unbeaten and beat Klitschko in Germany. That sells v the top guys no matter how "boring" his displays appear. Fans, hardcore and casual want to see the best face the best, especially at heavyweight. Fury is one of the biggest names in the division. SOLD!!!!

A much more logical reason is they've taken an opportunity to win a belt before one fighter held them all. If Fury wins the WBC belt he'll demand 40% v AJ. He'll get it too.
