I would have loved to see the Mayweather who fought Gatti vs Danny Swift Garcia, 50/50 fight?

    Discuss.

Mayweather was so fast and so accurate, but Mr.Garcia possibly has the power advantage here. Handspeed probably Mayweather, defense Mayweather footwork Mayweather, Iq Mayweather, outboxing May, Infighting May, Chin Very Equal.

Could Mr.Garcia knock out Mr.Mayweather? Discuss. please.

140 Floyd had everything and I think that was his peak optimum weight...still was offensive, still had brilliant defense, reflexes, timing, footwork, and excellent pop he just had everything at 140, he just didn't stay long enough because he couldn't get the fights he wanted...he would have destroyed Garcia.

That shot version of Gatti has a better chance of beating Garcia than Garcia does of beating Floyd.

I don't understand. You seem to think very highly of Mayweather, yet this is a 50/50 fight to you?

Floyd can make a comeback 5 years later and would still beat any version of DSG.

I'd favor Garcia by stoppage, probably in the 3rd.

Any Floyd beats Garcia badly. That Floyd? Maybe worse than he beat Gatti.

Garcia is a cherry picker who would get schooled by one of the last versions of floyd that Committed to his punches.

    50/50 indeed
50 for Floyd by shutout, and the other 50 for Floyd by late stoppage due to accumulation.

Why do you want to big up Cherry 'gift' Garcia that much anyway? Or is this just one of your "I make some outrageous statement that I know only other trolls agree with, so the site gets more traffic" threads?

Garcia has the intangibles. He isn't particularly good at one skill, but he has a very good overall skillset. Very good at every category, that could pose problems. He has the courage and will to win. The winner's mentality.
