Agreed. Barrera used a logical approach compared to Erik's emotions in trading blow for blow.

Thats the way I see it, but it failed, but it seems others here will only accept Barrera brawling and getting KTFO, that aint a gameplan to me, just senseless! for the record, Id have loved to have seen Barrera of 2000 or so smash Pac, but I think we need to appreciate his smarts also for fighting his fight!

Make up stories? I have read your posts before. You said that he was either afraid of Guzman or Marquez, one of the two. Either way, your write sensationalist bull**** too often, period.

B/c right after his fight with Pac he told larry he didn't want the rematch. JMM's camp later on tried to retract that statement. Then of course team JMM asked for the whole HBO site fee for there purse, that how we got the Morlaes trilogy.

It's easy to say sitting here. Barrera came to win, with an intelligent gameplan similar to that which upset Hamed in 2001. Box, move and capitalize on mistakes. He was throwing a crafty shot to the body early to try and slow Pacquaio down.

Unfortunately, Pacquaio probably made less mistakes than Hamed did and Barrera has obviously declined physically since 2001. Ultimately, Barrera still had his moments which is more than Morales had in his third fight with Pacquaio.

I'm not knocking Morales - he's a legend - but Barrera had a better boxing brain. And I'd rather have gone out like MAB did than Morales did.

Barrera is a great, but there was no pride in the way he fought. to have such a great career and fight your last round ever in such a manner was sad.

He will be remembered for better performances.

The point im making is that JMM isnt scared of Pac, why would he be, he beat him (although the cards didnt say so!) his whole career has been stalled by bad decisions from him and his camp!

All I remember is a bunch of bull**** in all your posts like...

Pac gets schooled by Marquez, Pac gets KOd by Soto, Barrera is a ***** and he is scard of Pac, blah blah blah.

You have been called out by many posters here for hating on Pinoys, I sure as hell think your a hater or a troll.

Well said mate, If pac had engaged more, barrera was waiting to capitaise, but pac was more patient, therefore making barrera look even more cautious

From a Floyd fan, this suprises me. Floyd leaves a lot to be desired as far as going for the kill on most nights he fights.

Most would argee that Team JMM did not appear eager to step in the ring with Pac again.
