Fif isn't as busy as he use to be when he was trying to put out records every summer....he's now working on acting whenever the right roles present themselves to him, endorsements and now Promoting...

Not sure why all you Pac fans keep stating 50 is ****ing Shantel.. Has nothing to do with boxing whatsoever, but if you somehow find it a moral victory by all means keep throwing it in random conversation. :good

What has 50 done besides let two boxers with dates have their fights and dates taken away from them? Go take a few pictures with Pac and state he's working with him? We had fights, we don't now... I don't know how that's keeping the momentum going.. Unless you have news I don't know about.

I was content letting TMT take their time doing whatever necessary.. But when you have a date, venue and opponents ready to fight then **** it off by not sending contracts someone has to speak on it..

You keep saying he's making moves, but I honestly think it's because he's now possibly working with Pacquaio.. He's done **** all since making that announcement, actually has taken steps backwards by losing fights.. If something positive comes from it good ****, but as of right now I think we have more reason to complain about them more than ever.

 

Surprised you didn't hear GAM is looking to secure fighting Anthony Peterson on December 15 and Tim is supposed to be fighting his brother...Lamont. TMT is the promoter of Gamboa.

I didn't say 50 was ****ing Ms. Jackson...I said that's the "Story". I don't know if it's true or not...All I know is it's been on blast since Floyd got out and everyone seems to be tip toeing around it.

It's no different than when Floyd fans bring up PAC's infidelities....For me...it is what it is...I don't really care what the fighters do outside the ring as long as they make great fights when they are in it. But I listen and read the rumors and enjoy seeing how they play out. It gives perspective into the lives of these warriors than what we see from them in the ring.

50 actually has given ALL the fighters he signed nice signing bonuses....Again...TMT has only been around for less than 3 months...It took Golden Boy almost a year to put on his first show after announcing he was in the promoting business.

In boxing there are a lot of potential obstacles that could prevent a fight from happening....so Dirrell and Gam who had fights were victims of what comes with the territory.

It's not the first time Gamboa had a fight delayed or Dirrell had a fight canceled. It's just now they are with a brand new promoter.....the "New kid on the block".

If you really think the fights fell off because contracts were NOT sent then you don't know much about the business side of boxing.

Look at my previous posts...... as SOON as I heard 50 and Floyd were going to partner up start TMT.... I was a HUGE supporter of Floyd and 50. I think it's great that we have young guys like DLH before, starting to infuse NEW BLOOD into the promoting side of boxing.

Just because 50 is looking to keep things moving...with or without PAC I haven't' changed the record. It's still a good look for boxing to have competition outside the ropes.

To be honest...ALL the *****'s around here are actin' like "Skirts" all the sudden since 50 is no longer working with Floyd and now working with PAC.

Before all I heard from the Floyd fanatics, "TMT baby"..."BLAT"...."TEAM G endorses 50, Floyd and TMT"..

Now they are calling 50 a *****....saying he's a bad actor, can't rap..he's a snake... I mean....it's a bit embarrassing to be honest.

It's a good look that Curtis is trying to keep TMT and their fighters career going. Don't change your tune JUST because he wants to work with another powerhouse in boxing to launch this new Promotional company.

Floyd brought up Pac's stuff because it's a constant battle to make each other look bad.. Fans constantly putting out that rumor is for what purpose? Haha look at Floyd, his girl probably cheated! Are we adults here? It's not even for comparison.. It's just to gossip.

A bonus does not give us fans a fight. Good he's paying them, he should since they had fights lined up that didn't go through. Bonus doesn't do **** for me as a fan. Again, I was all for them taking their time.. But losing fights and the only reason being stated is no contracts were sent is something worthy of complaint IMO.

If you've been consistently for TMT good stuff.. Glad you're not flip flopping because who 50 aligns himself with. I don't recall any Pac fan who was for TMT when they first started up.

Some Floyd fans are probably pissed at 50 for working with Pac. Some '*****s' really are I'm sure.. But do you really take those posters serious in the first place? Other boxing fans are pissed because we're tired of seeing good fighters shelved, and the news of those two having fights already set only to not go through because of TMT was a huge blow. Not really sure why a fan of either of those boxers aren't upset about it, but ok.

I've clearly stated my reasons for being upset with TMT plenty of times.. If you want to believe it's because he's working with Pac now that's on you. My posts every since the development of TMT have been consistent. I was for it when they signed talent, waited to for the story to develop before stating a comment after I heard about the issues with Floyd and 50, and said **** TMT for losing the two fights they had lined up and keeping those fighters shelved even longer.

I agree that whole MEGA fight between PAC and Floyd has turned in to a mud slinging SOAP between both sides and their fans. But all this could have been avoided if Floyd went about business as usual and made the fight with PAC back in 2009.

A bonus doesn't give us fight fans actual fights....but in business...you don't drop $3 million on a few blue chip fighters if you aren't planing to get a return on that investment. Curtis is in this business to capitalize the opportunity to carve out his spot with these OLDER promoters who are on their way out.

My buddy puts on boxing events in Baltimore...I go to the fights every now and then but use to go all the time for free...I'd get the $250 tables at Michaela 8th Ave where he would put on these local boxing matches. I know a lot of professional fighters from the Baltimore area....I grew up with some of them and went to their gyms...Brooklyn boxing club, Arbutus and now since those shut down I'll go down to Fells point.

I don't know the business of boxing, inside and out but I do have an understanding of what it takes to put on a professionally sanctioned boxing match in the state of MD.....small potatoes considering this is the BIG stage but there are things in common.

There were NOT many PAC fans who were on board with TMT, Floyd and 50 when they announced their new company.....but I'm all about the profession of this sport and even though I don't agree with Floyd, in particular with regards to the whole fight with PAC....I do believe we need more competition outside the ropes when it comes to promoters. lets face it.... Top Rank and Golden boy are the only promoters who run the show. We need someone else in the mix to shake things up and 50 is a very interesting new player with a lot of money and experience that deserves a little respect.

SOME *****'s and SOME *******'s have more to offer than JUST their biased views on those two fighters. It's not often but there are some. I give everyone a chance.

No one likes when good fighters are shelved but when things are in transition the chances of fights getting canceled or delayed are to be expected. Especially when it has to do with the changing of promoters.....factor in that TMT was just launched 2 months ago and we have an even greater chance at something else coming up that prevents fighters from continuing their career on time.

If you say that you don't like 50 because you don't feel he's taking this whole promoters thing serious....I'll believe you...I'm not sure if you were on board with TMT when Floyd was still in the picture or not...and I'm not sure when you decided that you didn't like the idea of 50 being a promoter....before or after PAC began working on partnering up with him. Either way I just think people should sit back and watch how things play out. It's a hard business for anyone to jump into....but I like how 50 has been going about teeing things up.....He came out of no where and surprised EVERYONE. I love that!
