I'd like to see it at 154. Hell, I think it's a 50/50 fight at this point at that weight. Anything under that and it's a bull **** fight.

Cotton wasn't competitive at all in the first fight, maybe for a round or two but he absolutely got destroyed by Manny, I don't buy the weight excuse Cotto is just not swift enough on his feet to be effective against Manny, Pac is just to fast for Miguel...

But hey if you like seeing one sided predictable beatdowns then this fight is for you, Hey while we are at it let's get a Calzaghe vs Lacy rematch or Hopkins vs Pavlik rematch, hell bring on Mayweather vs Marquez

It's 100% a weight issue. I don't know why anyone else picks up on this but look at the difference in Cotto's legs at 145 and 154.

When people look at bodies and weight all they do is analyze the upper body, but the lower half is just as important.

I wouldn't. This is going to be at yet another catch-weight and I hope Cotto ignores that offer.

With that said, Pacquiao's aggressive style, especially as a southpaw, followed by speed and power is a nightmare for someone like Cotto. The result won't be any different, it will look competitive till Pacquiao catches Cotto clean and hurts him, it's going to be one-sided from there.

Whoever dismisses the "weight" issue needs to ask his self why was a catch-weight requested to begin with? If the catch-weight does nothing(as those clueless fat ******s suggest), why did Roach demand it?

Cotto himself said the weight was not a factor in the fight, yet today he realizes he can use that as an excuse to justify quitting in the late rounds of that fight.

Just as he uses the plaster excuse to justify quitting against Margarito as Capetillo said Cotto is selling it

It doesn't really make sense since Cotto is coming off a convincing loss. On paper Pac lost to Bradley but in my book he won. If Cotto beats someone like Canelo or even Kirkland, then sure, let's see Cotto-Pac 2 at 154. Why not? Bradley is good but can be boring. Floyd-Pac will never happen. And Marquez has already gotten 3 shots.

Since they are both coming off losses. The fight makes some sense. It should be at 154 though.

In certain situations weight matters, but not in this fight Cotto showed nothing to suggest that he could survive pacs offense, Cotto fought at 140 and 147 throughout his career leading up to the fight with Manny, At 154 Cotto to me looks no different than he did then, he looked good early in the fight with Margarito at 147 and looked pretty much the same against him at 154, only difference is his new trainer taught him how to turn Tony and avoid extra damage..

Trust me Cotton will get sparked again, it's just a bad style for him...

Of course Cotto will say weight is not a factor as the fight approaches, he's getting some of the $'s from PPVs you know. But if it's true that catch-weights make no different whatsoever, why the **** are they requested?, I don't expect a bus driver like you to know that.

Concreto is a worthless scumbag supported by the cheapest trash I have ever come to see and I'm not talking trailer park here, I'm talking trash that live in their 1998 Corolla, use yourself as a perfect example. A scumbag who made a career calling out smaller opponents, cheating and losing. That kind of garbage will be only be supported by garbage like you and your proud taco bell employed family.
