I would love BILLY NELSONS take on the Bakole v Kuzman fight....

I'm not a brown nose at all (in fact I absolutely despise Tony Bellew) but if, as a big boxing fan, you get the opportunity to regularly discuss with those who are professionals in the sport and spend every day on the job, it should be taken and discussed properly. In that thread that's just been dug up there's morons calling out and offering Tony to have a fight with them! And calling Frankie Gavin thick. If I was in their shoes I would have also gone **** this its not worth getting grief in my spare time when talking boxing.

 

I gave Martin a 6.5 out of 10 for Saturdays performance, i thought he could have been a lot busier and a bit more agressive, however lets bear in mind he was winning the fight comfortably at distance against avery experienced opponent, a former WBSS fighter who represented his country throughout the world, he had over 200 fights, wherehas Martin had 13 amatuer fights with zero competition.
Kuzmin is a vwery hard puncher, has is Martin and in the 2nd Round Kuzmin was hurt and respected the power Martin has, the fight the changed and he was never going to outspeed nor outjab Martin.
He won got anice ranking and he moves forward.

 

Who will you guys look to target in particular?

That’s spot on. That’s exactly what I wanted to see.

Look forward to his next fight now and hopefully he addresses the faults because there’s no denying he’s got the potential.

 

Agree about the thread that’s been dragged up. Maybe I’m being deluded but this sub forum at present is a brilliant place. There’s plenty of disagreements but rarely are there insults/fallouts. We tend to self police it in a way. Top group of lads.

 

British forum is the only reason I come on here really, decent bunch of lads here.

 

Much much better than the 'general' forum. I read it sometimes and and am surprised how poor the discussion is in general. Just bias, people with agendas or stupid "would Muhammed Ali be able to beat Joshua?" type threads.

 

If Bakole can box the way he did v Hunter and has the resilience to fight through when it gets tough, he will be a hard fight for anybody.

When Bakole is on it and high volume he is difficult to live with. I feel that the slower pace doesnt really suit him and it suited Kuzmin more. But the way the fight went from the 2nd when Bakole lit Kuzmin up like a Christmas tree, also meant he was winning most of the rounds.

When Bakole is on it like he was with Wach or Akinlade he is difficult to live with.

 

Unresponsive defence sees bakole getting starched.

 

Nice to hear Billy's perspective but I had Kuzmin 2 rounds up. Was a difficult fight to score though but I felt Martin was overwhelmed by Kuzmin in the later rounds and didn't have an answer.
