I would much rather have 10 Angulo's than runners like Mayweather

I like watching both styles. I like watching guys light on their feet that are ellusive, I like watching Mallignaggi. What I don't like is Wlad, that is boring to me, he is cautious but it isn't fun to watch, the footwork isn't that impressive and he won't let his hands go when you know he can. Clottey is another example of a fighter I find boring to watch. Guys that are safety first fighters that don't look good doing it.

He sure as hell didn't run from Hatton. He just got the better of him in the middle of the ring.

10 Angulo's would mean that we have ten more fighters who can beat mediocre's and thats it.

Though i appreciate a good war from time to time,i am the % of boxing fan that is realy impressed with talent.

I will take a Mayweather over a Angulo style fighter any day of the week.

Even though i dont care for Floyd Jr's antics outside of the ring,i cannot deny the mans ability inside the ring. What Mayweather does inside the ring is far from running...Its poetry in motion plain and simple.

You could hate the man,but you cannot deny his skills.

Id rather watch angulo before floyd, call me crazy but hes a monster in the ring and hes so respectful outside of the ring!! That being said I'll still watch floyd fight, But if he ever fought on the same night as perro, then I would watch perro!!!

As long they try their best to give an entertaining fight I honestly couldn't give a damn what style a fighter has. I can appreciate at the same time the boxing skills fighters like Sergio Martinez and Floyd bring into the ring and the brawls fighters like Marcos Maidana get into.

I'll make a few more comments just to clarify my position. I have always disliked the label "runner," but I have never said much about it on ESB. Last night some random noobie called Adamek a "runner," and that set me off on the warpath.

The name of the game is "boxing." It is not called "stand in the middle of the ring and beat the **** out of each other." What Adamek did last night was demonstrate how to box wisely, and use the whole ring, to win a fight.

However, I have seen fights where there was plenty of room to criticize a fighter for "running." Pavlik/Rubio is a good example.

All in all I think anyone who claims to be a fan of the sport should at least try to develop an appreciation for all styles. I prefer an aggressive boxer/puncher over any other style, but I love to watch a master at work no matter what style he uses.

I prefer the flashy speedy.Gamboa, Khan and Pac etcetera. Add some awkwardness of pac and nazem.I hate basic come forward simple approach just very boring however you do admire that at times.

I'm still on the warpath over this! So let's make elusiveness and clever movement against the rules, and see how freaking silly that would be. In order to insure that no fighter can use elusiveness as a tool, let's get rid of all 20 X 20 and 18 X 18 foot rings. Let's make a boxing ring 6' X 6'.

And let's take some recent fights and see how they would have played out under these new rules!

Arreola would ****ing hammer Adamek in less than a round.

Pavlik would obliterate Martinez in about 30 seconds!

Now how ****ing fair would that be?
