Not because he's so great, but because he's a headbutt machine, and is bound to damage someone's retinas to the point of ending their career. The man simply cant stop himself, he's a headbutt addict, it's only a matter of time until someone suffers irreparable damage.
Hes got a point tho. Khan was analysing over here for British TV and he said the head is an issue. Witter spoke to British TV and Bradley will use it. Khan wins a Bradley fight by UD
Some of those were Devon's fault too. Many fighters have headbutted before Bradley but I'm glad he's willing to face anyone and comes to fight.
Some of the headbutts were also Alexander's fault. Lets not forget that Bradley was also butted in the fight as well.
Those head-butts are an obvous cause for concern. Cunningham was very vocal about this in the lead up to the fight, and rightfully so. Bradley has a notorious history of ramming his head and causing cuts.
Bradley was class in the ring tonight. Both fighters were. The headbutts were a result of the two styles. This is professional boxing. Bradley is only 5'6 and bald, plus he likes to go downstairs, he doesnt use his head intentionally its just the circumstances. With or without the headbutts, Bradley would have won the fight. He deserves his respect and credit.
As has been said, I agree Devon was headbutting as well. On the inside, both fighters were leading in with their heads, you can't cry just because you're on the receiving end, if you're just as involved.
Bradley is shorter and has to force his way in. A taller fighter is supposed to be picking off the little guy, but he works his way in and sometimes the headbutts happen. They never look intentional to me. Alexander bitched outl sounds like he thought he was ahead on the cards.
People are already posting talking down on Bradley when he fought a good fight and performed exactly the way i expected him to with heart and determination, as any fight fan knows headbutts happen especially between a southpaw and an orthodox fighter, Bradley brought the fight from round one and he was aggressive... Headbutts are gonna happen when a fighter (Bradley) is pressing the action and when he gets inside Alexander looks to hold and essentially pulls him into a clinch, we knew Tim wasn't a Knockout artist but he comes to fight and he fought with confidence and he fought the same way he always fights. Tim's not a dirty fighter and other than Nate Cambell and Devon Alexander headbutts haven't decided any of his fights there were no butts in his last fight with Abregu and there probably won't be any in his next fight why... Because "STYLES" make fights, good win for the Desert Storm against an emotionally weak fighter who crumbled cause he couldn't handle the pressure... P.S. on the last butt Bradley was cut also and took it like a man, so if people are gonna talk down on someone Alexander's your man.
maybe if alexander didn't look to move in and hold every time bradley got near, those headbutts might not have been so frequent.
