I dont give cotto a chance. It would be even workse than Cotto vs Pac.

When the aggressor is the smaller fighter, with less power, worse defense, and a bad chin.

This fight would be over in 5 rounds

the trouble with Cotto is, he only fights with one hand.

this is how I feel also. Cotto is a good fighter, but he is an offensive fighter who has a decent jab and his quick. But make no mistake about it Cotto is offense, and he is fighting 2 divisions too high. If he were at 160 that is 3 divisions too high.

His jab is a lot more than decent but I agree, a pressure fighter well above his natural weight class against a fast, athletic, strong, skilled champion. The things that offset size disadvantages aren't present.

Is the general consensus that Martinez hits harder than Mayorga now? I'm just curious...

Only chance cotto has at 154 is if martinez is weight drained. If martinez is fine cotto get's KO inside of 5.

Only a tiny chance. Wouldn't rule him out completely, against anyone.

    This.

Maravilla gives Cotto a worse beating than what Pac and Margo did. His jab wont help him against the taller, faster, stronger fighter that has a 9'' reach advantage...Maravilla will win the jabbing contest, and open Cotto's face up with the jabs, and finishes him off after a couple hard lefts.

Offensively. Martinez is pretty much a bigger, stronger Pacquiao. He would have his way with Cotto after a few rounds of seeing what he had to offer.
