Often on these boards I read that May-Pac is past due and that Manny had a better chance of beating Floyd 5 years ago in Pac's prime. Well I recall back during Manny's prime, Erik Morales got his azz handed to him by Zahir Raheem and instead of fighting Raheem Manny picked the defeated Erik Morales.

At that time had Manny fought the winner Raheem, I would of favored Raheem and many others would have as well. I didn't think at that time that Manny was any match for a slick, defensive, counter puncher. So those saying he would of beat Floyd back then.....just think about that for a second...Pac would not have even been the favorite against Zahir Raheem much less Floyd Mayweather!!!

So what, and the fight wasn't already agreed to, it was just expected that they would both win. But dont worry about it, even back then we knew Arum would never sign a Raheem fight.

You'll find out on May 2nd why Team Pac never wanted the fight, but then again, a fan like you only have short term memory...whatever Skip Bayless tells you is true, keep believing

Raheem had said he would go down to 130 pounds to fight Pacquiao but pacquiao refuse so pac fought morales who was coming off a lost. Pac has avoided slick fighters at junior lightweight from raheem to undefeated back then guzman.

you really have some serious hate for pac if you really believe he ducked raheem and guzman.

raheem and guzman only have about 42 fans, that's including you.

how the hell are they going to break even?? it's a sure money disaster.

LOL who is Skip Bayless?? is he any kin to Floyd's new protector Kenny??? I was boxing in the ABA when you were just a gleam in your Momma's eyes boy  I saw the fear in Floyd's eyes when Tony Margarito confronted him he literally soiled his pants.
Floyd has been forced into this fight he never wanted to face Mannybecause he knows he cannot beat him on his own. He needs Cortez or Bayless as ref & his Vegas homies as judges & commissioners to look out for him

No you cannot just say ' so what' the guy gives you a full and complete answer , you then dismiss it because you do agree.

That isnt the way it works.

At the time we could care less how many fans Guzman and Raheem had, the fact of the matter is they were both featured on HBO and both had gained recognition as potential tough fights for Pacquiao. Of course Manny fought neither. As a matter of fact I'll throw Nate Campbell in there as well, after beating Juan Diaz he was a title holder and......no Pac!

It's the truth. Pac fought a Morales rematch despite Morales was coming off a lost to Raheem who was a slick fast fighter but yet pac didnt want to fight a slick fighter. Guzman who was undefeated call out pacquiao and wanted to fight pac after he beat soto but pac ignore it go figure. Even bob arum said "Pac aint fighting a guy who doesnt brawl."

When did Floyd last fight a guy with legs? Floyds been fight slow ass fighters like Maidana and he still gets tagged.

Manny fights all styles while Floyd only fights slow plodders. Floyd's lack of dimension will show on May 2nd.

Manny would have been the favorite over Raheem. EM overlooked Raheem.....didn't give him enough respect as a Olympic boxer with a slick style. All morales was thinking was "tune up" and because of the southpaw stance Raheem was selected. Zahir stepped up and took advantage of a ill-prepared El terrible.
