Tszyu was unbeaten in 8 years, undisputed champion and he was 7 years younger than Hopkins.

    I don't see it.

Hatton was a massive underdog going in whereas JC is a strong favourite. Everyone had Kostya top 3 p4p at the time whereas noone has Nard there now.

Beating Kostya was more impressive (especially since Hatton isn't as good as JC).

I think it depends on if like you and me Jeff if you consider Hopkins the favorite. Most people seem to think Calzaghe beating Hopkins is a formality, I think Hopkins has a definate edge and that if JC is to win he needs to be extra damm impressive and to not let Hopkins touch him. I will see a JC win as being amazingly impressive.

Hattons win over Kostya will always be more impressive to me but then to some Kostya was though to be shot and injured.

If what I says are facts, then I am speaking fact.
For example, the three things I just said about Tszyu were facts.

If I have an opinion on something, that would be an opinion.
For example, Hatton beating Tszyu is more impressive to me than Calzaghe beating Hopkins, should he do so.

I would put them on a par to be honest - but you could take the edge off either fighter's victory (should Joe win), as follows:

    1. Hatton's style is a nightmare for Tszyu - he is the man in a black cloak carrying a scythe.

    2. Hopkins is 43 years old, and hasn't beat a focused, legit light heavy - Tarver was crap, whilst Winky was almost a stone overweight.

FACT-hopkins beating calzaghe would do more for hopkins the calzaghe knocking the **** out of him

both wins are good wins but i wouldnt describe them as impressive both fighters were 7-10 years past there best when they stepped in the ring with calzaghe and Hatton,

if joe can beat hopkins it will be a bigger acheivment than wrestling tszyu all around manchester

in All Honesty i'd pick that 36 year old Kostay who lost to Hatton to beat any of the current top 10 140 contenders outside from hatton.not to take any thing away from junior but Kostay wouldv pole axed him that night

For me to vote yes would depend alot on the manner of a Calzaghe win over Hopkins and that has yet to be determined....

At the moment I'm inclined to vote no as Calzaghe is the clear favourite to beat Hopkins anyway whereas Hatton was the underdog and upset unfavourable odds to beat Tszyu.

No, Hatton was expected to get starched inside 3 rounds (if he was lucky!!). Calzaghe is the favourite to beat Hops. Hopkins recent record is also mixed where Zoo was still knocking them out.
