    No, he was turned down because he only had limited Irish heritage.

    He chose Spain over Ireland because he'd have to reside and train in Ireland.

    Good to see Weaver get his license. Remember watching him beat Younis (who also went pro) in the ABA's was a cracking fight. Look forward to seeing him in the Pros.
