After yet another disgusting performance by this clown, this time managing to hand in a 114-114 scorecard for the Colin Lynes v Lee Purdy fightatsch............A fight i scored 119-108 for Lynes. So, is IJL corrupt or just plain ****..............or both?
119-108 was the correct score (it was mine, after all ) Lynes gave a boxing lesson. Lewis gave a seminar on bad judging.
I think IJL is an atrocious referee and judge. He's completely inept. I think judges have a hard job sometimes and whenever I see a judge be accused of being corrupt after scoring a close fight, that could be scored one way or the other, I think it's way too harsh. In many fights, judges are unfairly criticized. However, IJL repeatedly makes awful mistakes. I don't think he is corrupt but this can't go on.
Ian John "Wefewee" Lewis, is the most disgraceful official in the UK.. The guy is such a ****ing dick shaft. All his score cards are crooked and his refereeing leaves a lot to be desired. I remember he scored a round in a prizefight 10-10 after 1 fighter dominated and knocked the other down.
The lad needs to go on some training courses or be fired. Incompetent isn't the word, this sort of **** happens all the time with him
He was harshly disiplined for that. Warned on his future performances, apparently. Maybe after this latest disaster he might be finally shown the door.
Hope so.. Did you see Page vs Dallas? Completely robbed Page of an easy points win. Dallas couldn't touch him.. plodded forward and Page popped him with shots for 8 rounds.. scored in 78-72 if memory serves correctly.
Didn't see it, but yeah, he has previous. I'm not sure whether it's sheer incompetence or if he's a dodgy *******. Either way it's time to get rid of him.

I couldn't remember where I'd seen his name before after he gave that Awful scorecard, but then I remembered he reffed Hopkins-Pascal II and missed two very clean knockdowns. That draw scorecard, though, incredible. If Lynes hadn't of scored the knockdown he'd have given it to Purdy!
Unbelievable. I scored it the same. Thought Dallas won rounds 2 & 4 and that was it. As soon as the final bell went, Jim Watt said he thought Lewis was gonna do Dallas a favour, and sure enough he did. This is one of the few things I hate about boxing. I suppose if it wasn't Lewis that handed him the result, someone else would have, but he needs to be fired regardless.
