Ian Lewison finished or not ?

I listened to an interview with Don Charles, he was claiming Lewison suffered an eye poke so I don't think it's a serious injury.

 

He was lively for a couple of rounds but was essentially a punch bag afterwards.

 

Yes. Think Don is the only man in the world capable of training Chisora, they have one of those relationships.

 

How can you show up in that shape after a 11 week training camp, he was fatter than butter.

Yeah finished. Out of shape...no conditioning. Pretty inactive career. At this point its a bit like whats the point. Hes basically just a half decent right hand.

Just gonna be downhill from here for him. Surprised these people even stick around...dont seem that interested if his conditionings anything to go by anyway. If your in boxing to play at it your in a pretty dangerous position. Time to call it a day.

 

The bloke has a glass nose. He breaks it in every single fight.

 

Don't think he has much left, really. Seems to have had some potential as a fighter, could punch and take a punch well but he's way out of shape. Clearly not that dedicated to his boxing career, he could beat Sexton pretty easily tho I think, to get the British title.

Heard Lewison got a broken nose, jaw and ankle in the fight !! If so showed a lot of balls

 

He’s in dire need of a gastric band if he wants to continue.

 

To be frank Lewinson and his team should be embarrassed that he stepped into the ring in that shape. If someone is being paid decent money for a fight the least they can do is not be at least 2 stone overweight ffs. I rate him along side Cornish which is pretty low.

 

Ian Lewis has pissed away his talent, he was a solid amateur with wins over Solis and Helenius and he could have done so much more as a pro. I'm not saying he would have been a world champion, but he could easily have been a British/European level fighter. I found it hard to watch last night, he was in such bad shape and took a beating. Just entering the right that overweight made me half expect him to keel over.
