Did anyone else notice this last night? The broadcasters on Showtime BRIEFLY mentioned that Ianuzzi trained in Tampa with Tarver. Then Tarver was being absurdly biased in favor of Ianuzzi, saying he was winning rounds when he was sprinting around the ring like a scared little girl running from a flasher. I thought the guy fought like a complete ***** and deserved very very few rounds in that fight

Are you kidding me? You mean the 34 year old that didn't turn pro until he was 30 and has zero am experience yet was fighting a highly rated prospect with excellent amatuer background and the best trainer in boxing with all the cards stacked against him??? You mean the guy who fought last night in his first fight out of his hometown? You mean the novice Ianuzzi??? That guy fought his ass off and beat that Nigerian Hypejob Kayode. Kayode is a ****ing joke and should be embarassed to show his face in a ring ever again, that guy was the most disapointed shitty boxing hypejob I've seen in a long ass time. Just terrible and not even fantastic power. Pathetic performance by Kayode but absolutley amazing performance by the relative rookie Ianuzzi! He was expected to get blown out in one round and arguably deserved the decision.

YOU are the "*****" for writing that trash. That dude fought his ass off and while it's obvious he's no Jack Johnson, he deserves credit for fighting a brave fight.

Ianuzzi performed very well given his experience/skill level. He out-boxed Kayode in the opening few rounds, and remained competitive for all 10 (when most expected an early KO). Notable, Ianuzzi was able to fight back effectively the 3-4 times he was visibly hurt by a power shot. Kayode had no finish, and showed no ability to put together smart combos and pick an inferior opponent apart, which is supposed to be his strong suit. Didn't even go to the body until late, and didn't do it well. Ate a big left hook counter telegraphing a sloppy body shot.

All fighters look bad at times, but this was a stinker for Kayode. Light on power sloppy in technical execution. He'll have to perform worlds better next fight to keep my attention.

Kayode's lack of ability to cut the ring off was really exposed. Roach has work to do.
