Kabiru Towolawi defeats Ike Ibeabuchi by unanimous decision over 12 rounds for the WBB Heavyweight Championship and becomes the first man in boxing history to beat Ibeabuchi over a career that started in 1994! (115-113, 117-111, 115-114)

    There goes Fury's comeback plan.

Why the hell didn't he fight some other old-timers like Briggs? Could have made some money, at least.

It's impressive that he went a 12 round distance for a belt though, especially at his size and age

    Posted the wrong thing, here.

Yes, I agree. And I think there are still some money-makers there if he wants them.

Ibeabuchi is still young, he has plenty of time to come back from this.

At 52, Ibeabuchi would probably still be a more credible opponent than Youtuber Jake Paul.

Yep, young lad just needs to keep his nose clean, avoid getting in trouble with the law. He'll be right.

Ike looks like the same fighter..... if you took his old fights on Youtube and put them at 0.25 speed. There's still some sting when they do(on occasion) land tbf.

Yeah, much better than I expected although I think the fight was mostly clinches. Kind of like watching an old Sonny Liston.

Yeah I hope Ike carries on. Was hoping it would be a bit longer before father time smacked him upside the head, but that's boxing for you. He can take some positives from this.. he did some good work and went 12 rounds in his second fight back in almost 30 years. This killed any minute chance of championship aspirations but it doesn't mean that he can't make money in some fun sideshow fights. Anderson Silva just picked up a win at 50 years young that would be a fun one. Vitor Belfort? Andrei Arlovski? Hell.... Maybe even Tua if he got a decent offer. An even crazier shout is Joyce. Ike said he'd still beat Joyce easily. While that's probably a suicide mission it's still a train wreck most of us wouldn't be able to turn away from. and yeah even old Ike might be able to detonate a bomb or two on Joyces chin.

Maybe because he was inactive and locked up for half his life?
