Povetkin is predictable and has only one pattern of attack. His jab is barely existent and nowhere near as good as Ike's.
He isn't a good inside fighter , he was clueless within the wheelhouse against Wlad. Ike would have ripped hooks all over Wlad in that situation. He's most efficient at medium range. He wouldn't over come Ike on the inside.
Ike was more varied and mixed it up better. His endurance and work rate were his strengths while they are Povs weaknesses.
His defence and upperbody movement was miles better. Pov walks forward face first. These are vital area's where Ike is clearly superior , so to say Povetkin is better at every facet of the game of nothing but lie , but lies is all ive come to expect from a gresseball like you.
So you went to boxrec to do your research?.. I actually watched that fight with my own eyes and Byrd was was not in that fight , at all. HBO scored every round after the first to Ike. Fact. He wasn't down on the cards , he was up on the cards. Fact. Quoting what the Seattle Times says just makes you look like a joke who never saw the fight.
Byrd was so badly out of it at the time of the stoppage he wasn't even aware the fight had been stopped. Your sickening lies are now trying to claim that Ike wasn't deserving of the win. Don't waste your time responding , i shant be reading any more of your garbage.

Clearly you are going to be less than honest about both fighters skills. Don't know what I expected entering this debate. After all your account is pretty much dedicated to the defamation and slander of Wladimir Klitschko...

Povetkin's defense is a lot better than Ike's. Notice how both Byrd and Tua were able to land a high percentage of their punches on him. Both landed at or around 40% of punches thrown.

Boxrec was just a means to an end. I don't care who you are, everyone on here looks at boxrec when arguing to make sure they get specific numbers correct and all (rds, percentages, wins/losses, etc). If you had half a brain you would see that I was quoting an article. Just because boxrec has it on their website doesn't make it null and void. That's a common arguing technique used against less experienced fans. You're a total amateur...

Btw none of the information originates on boxrec, they piece everything together from primary sources. You're like those guys who think Wikipedia is a bad source for information.

You aren't hot sh*t for watching a 5 rd fight. Whoopty freakin' doo...

What's wrong with the Seattle Times? You do realize where Tacoma, Washington (The location of the fight) is right? It's a primary source.

Whatever HBO thinks of the fight doesn't get taken into account when determining the winner. You know this right? There have been plenty of times in history where HBO had ****ed up scorecards.

I literally posted video footage of Ike missing almost all of his punches except for the last 2 hooks that he threw when the referee appeared to be distracting Byrd (he might have thought the ref was about to stop the fight). If you actually did watch the fight you would see Byrd had problems with the ref and it was even brought up in the immediate post fight interview with Merchant.

I don't give a rat's ass if you reply or not. It's clear you're trying to live in your own fantasy world.
