yea maybe but then again was ricky hatton realli a legit challenge? if u really believe so there goes your creditbility what about baldomir? why didnt he take a career high 8 million at the time from margo? gatti surely wasnt a challenge just a payday? none of his fights after lightweight were a challenge except for the half of the DLH fight and he could have made alot of money fighting him again and a legitmite enough challenge but he didnt.

 

Whatever. Latimore is in bed with Mayweather, why would you believe what he says on this? It would be like quoting Leonard Ellerby. Latimore is a member of Mayweather's entourage.

I'd agree with his statement regarding Mayorga and possibly Margarito, but Cotto isn't as one-dimensional as those guys.

 

Yeah, Hatton was a legit challenge. You can't talk about that fight after the fact. Floyd was not dealing with Arum period as far as fighting AM or Cotto. Floyd didn't want to deal with Arum, and Arum never offered Floyd 8 mil. That was a felonious offer to smear Floyd because he was leaving him. Arum supposedly offer Floyd 7 mil to fight AM, and AM didn't even have a name at all. Hoe could he guarantee that money when nobody wanted to see that fight? Floyd never received the kind of paydays from Arum like he did when Goosen gave him 8 for fighting Baldy. Your cheap outlook on this 8 mil offer, and Floyd's fights not a challenge after lightweight makes me look at your credibility.

 

as great as floyd is, he struggled with an old hoya and an overblown ricky fatton. he won't call out margo, cotto, or even clottey and he calls himself the best of all time. Henry Armstrong and Walker Smith must be laughing so hard in their graves that they died again. i don't know about clottey, but cotto will break down that ass and margo dissects. esp if they're fighting floyd, does anyone think they will take it easy on him for one second. they're gonna wanna try and get away with murder. floyd is an atg, but no way best of all time. :-(

What fight were you watching? Listen, I'm a Hatton fan and I'm not particularly fond of Mayweather, but the guy put a supreme beatdown on Hatton. He was probably up by 8 points at the time he knocked him out.

Again, I'm a Cotto fan, and while I don't particularly like Margarito, I'm pretty realistic about the guys chances and recognises he's a good fighter at what he does, but listen, Mayweather would school him. Cotto would be more competitive because he's a better composite puncher and a better boxer, but I still think Floyd would win.

i cant even count the number of times boxers say **** that doesnt even make sense just cause he fights doesnt mean hes a better judge of fighters or boxing as a person who doesnt fight.

no one's denying what he did hatton, i knew floyd had the tools and his power is underrated. what i do question is why at 147? i give hatton actually more props for taking this fight even tho it was obvious that his power and most importantly pressure game was not the same at that weight as was evident when he fought collazo, who got steamrolled by mosley. i ain't got hate for floyd, to each his own, but like i said before, i don't doubt his atgreatness, but he still needs to prove alot more to be in Leonard's or Robinson's league. i know he probably said that to stir **** up he loves the attention and any publicity for a boxer is good publicity. but let's be real. If he does get by margo or cotto, who are bonafide and in their primes, THEN their is no doubt he belongs with the Sugars of the world. until then he's floyd. Leonard had his Hitman Hearns. floyd had his hitman hatton. see the difference? i don't wanna see floyd lose. i wanna see him prove his point
