I hope that Adamek wins this eliminator and faces Klitschko (one or another). But it's discusting to see that Haye got his title shot after beating Barrett. It looks that Adamek needs to beat: Golota, Estrada, Arreola, Grant, Maddalone, Peter and Chambers/Rossy to get it legit. Tomasz could fill every arena in the US, he proved to be a true HW contender. I hate boxing politics.

Adamek would have got voluntary shot, if he would have wanted.

    Just like Haye did.

Difference is that with mandatory he gets more money and doesn’t have to fight three rematches with wlad and his brother if he wins.

Also he gets good experience against divisions top heavy’s in this tournament

Adamek wanted to fight Vit in march 2011 but then Don King stepped in saying that he should face the winner of Solis/Austin. Wlad is injured right now and it's hard to say who and when is he going to fight.

Yeah but he has had change to step in as voluntary before, so you complaining about Hayes voluntary shot, dosent make any sense.

Isn't Tomasz the WBO #1 contender? Why risk a fight like this?

To get experience against top fighters of the division?

Then he has other options... I think Peter is a 50/50 fight, Adamek has cojones I give you that, but to risk a major payday for experience gain isn't really smart. Peter is on the way down after 3 Klitschko defeats, and Adamek is on his way up.
Don't get me wrong, I really want to see this fight... But it just isn't smart.

Wouldn't it be ironic of Peter in some fluke outcome won the tournament and got to fight Wlad again? What an odd "trilogy" that would be.

Even if he wouldnt take these fights he still would have to fight some top opponent in WBO eliminator. So this is really just one extra match, in his way to the mandatory shot.

We could even get the fourth match, if he manages to knock Wlad out. :happy

So you approve todays boxing politics - great for you and have a good boxing travesty 2011 year. You should like it.

    :huh

Not really but if both of them are offered similar opportunity, how can you complain it being unfair to the other?

Adamek sure as hell isn’t complaining about it

Because their first two fights clearly indicate this is likely. Wake up.
