The IBF just released their new ratings. Number spot is empty. Tsypko is second. Andrade is third. We'll see if the IBF will order an eliminatory between Tsypko and Andrade. The winner would be the mandatory.
If the Bika fight is being considered in the new ratings. The IBF often posts its ratings late. Their last one was dated from the 13th of November but the Bute-Andrade fight was not in it.
In that case, essentially, nothing changes. Instead of proclaiming Andrade mandatory challenger automatically, they will ask him to fight Tsypko, who has been waiting for a shot for a while. If he refuses, Stieglitz patsch ) or Bika will get the eliminator shot. It's just a way of forcing Andrade to fight Tsypko, and thus giving both a shot. I think they've done the right thing.

Stieglitz gets too many bites at the cherry, and it's unfair. He's never gonna make it with that attitude of his, even if technically and physically he has what it takes to be a solid B level fighter.
I'm looking forward to Tsypko-Andrade. This way it guarantees the fans will get to see Bute-Andrade II if Andrade becomes the mandatory challenger. GBP will probably refuse to let their fighter fight in Montreal so it will go to the purse bid. They will bid a crap load of money. Both fighters will make their biggest purse ever and Bute-Andrade will happen in Vegas on HBO. Everyone wins!
