IBF gives Wlad 15 July deadline for fighting Thompson

He has all the belts now (exept for the WBA regular which they created out of thin air) and people still won't fight him, the Undisputed HW Champion and he struggles to get top HW's to fight him. If he dropped the belts you think people would be more likely to fight him You would have 4 guys with 4 different belts and all of them would claim publicly that Klychko is ducking them while their promoters are busy blocking phone calls from K2 and the American public would buy it too.

 

He dosent have WBC

 

Its more because of his constant injuries than Haye saga. He canceled two fights this year because of injury and one last year

if you think Thompson deserves a shot by fighting 5 times in 3 years and those 5 opponents being these ridiculous chumps , then that says everything about the state of the game

 

To me, Wlad starting the year fighting Mormeck and then Thompson is rather dull.
Vitali fighting Chisora and then possibly Haye is much better.
So likely another year goes by where Wlad fights Mormeck, Thompson and likely only one more fight after that, say Arreola? Not a great year of defenses there really for Wlad. Given the injury I think I would have rather see him move on from the Mormeck fight and fight his mandatory in March.
