i never look these things up normally, but hudson is always belittling european boxing , and said in a post that 5 of the top 10 heavyweights were american and used the IBF rankings to corrberate his beleif.

just looking at the rankings , whatdo people on esb think.

    worthy rankings
    not to bad
or who the **** is carl drummond and does his mum know he is boxing.

    5 Alexander Dimitrenko Ukraine

I think "Not Rated" deserves a title shot. Far as I can tell, he has never lost a fight.

Seriously though, I don't think the rankings are nuts, but not good either. Rahman is way too high and I don't know who Carl Drumond is.

1 Alexander Povetkin Russian Federation-fair enough he just beat byrd and chambers for his spot

2 NOT RATED-knowing the IBF he he american
3 Vladimir Virchis Ukraine-to high-powerfull but least talented of all the east europeans
4 Hasim Rahman-is he still around
    United States

5 Alexander Dimitrenko Ukraine-to high-very good jab , does not like pressure

    6 Sultan Ibragimov United States-usa ?
no wonder hudson says american heavys dominate the IBF

7 Eddie Chambers United States-fair enough , americas best heavy IMO dimetrenko would easily outpoint him , but styles make fights and he would do a lot better v a lot of fighters than dimetrenko would.

8 Calvin Brock United States-get the **** out of here.

9 Tony Thompson United States-will be beaten badly by wlad but until then 9 is acceptable although me personally as i have said many times , he does not really have the abilty of a top 10 fighter.
10 Juan Carlos Gomez Cuba-underated fighter- i have no problem with gomez anywhere in anybodys top 10, but has trouble getting opponents and staying in shape.

11 Chris Arreola United States-gets the jonb done v C level opponents but has faced no one yet.

12 Andrew Golota United States-yet another american

13 Shannon Briggs United States-somebody get his inhaler quick
14 Oleg Platov Ukraine-???heading for a big defeat last time out v danny williams until his corner saved him.

15 Carl Drumond-his mum wants to know what is he doing in a boxing ring.

Is Sultan and Golata now suddenly American?

Based across the belts I am not sure if there even will be an american in there on Top 10.

The HWs are governed by europe, and that is why Americans thinks the division is pure ****.

i do not want to turn it into a usa v europe thing.

just pointing out , that using one orginisations rankings to prove a point is flawed.

as are all the ABC`S RANKINGS without looking at the other 3`s top 15

just as bad i would guess by looking.

    maskaev ko`s rahman gets dropped

    rahman beats ? number 4

number 2 slot has to be bought and paid for using IBF rules which is a joke.
IBF just like all the ABC`S IS CORRUPT, JUST THAT THEY HAVE BEEN CAUGHT taking money to fix outcomes and rankings and should not be used by anybody to vindicate a point unless desperate.

Yes, I can't account for any of the ABCs motives of ranking. At most points they just want to select their own handful of fighters, so they don't look like each other. These are things I have never understood.

So suggesting corruption is a good place to start. Pure idiocy is another.

As I see it they have almost lost their importance. There is the people's champ, and then there are the money fights. Rankings doesn't mean much anymore.

puerto rico must not be liked where is ruiz.

surley his record and longvity deserve a ranking
mind you ruiz was beat by valuev who also cannot get a ranking
and valuev just outboxed former champ lykahovich so he cannot be ranked
and platov was going to be stopped by williams who in turn was beaten by skelton who just lost to chagaev who beat ruiz.:D

:rofl:rofl:rofl. And White wolf was beaten by Briggs, who was beaten by another american(!?); Ibragimov.

Yeah, it's this kind of lunacy that makes the individual ABC rankings useless.

But who can blame them for trying to get the US audience to take interest in HW again?
