    22-0-1 (KO 20) Charles Martin
    vs
    21-0-1 (KO 13) Vyacheslav Glazkov

Charles Martin seems to have an advantage in size and a face value punching power advantage

Vyacheslav Glazkov has the boxing experience outpointing Tomasz Adamek, Steve Cunningham & the Draw vs the skilled Malik Scott

Hoping for Martin, who seems like a nice man, but the differance in experience is going to be a big hill.

Vyacheslav Glazkov seems to be nice himself, but those fights where he got slightly favored by the judges made him unfairly less likable by those who followed his career :think

The IBF heavyweight belt is beyond a joke at this point

I like Martin as well, but I'm not sure if he has the experience to deal with Glazkov's fundamentals. His best win to date is Dawejko who's a domestic prospect himself. Czar by decision.

You can also look at it another way, Martin looks to be improving really quickly and has dominated the opposition he has been facing. Glazkov has looked less impressive everytime he fights and those fundamentals dont look like such a great base atm.

Dawejko isnt terrible he beat Rossey for real, Glazkov needed a gift to do the same.

Martin actually has a few skills that can't be taught imo, his ability to move and counter at the same time is not something that can be taught. He's got great movement and heavy hands these are traits you are born with and Glazkov has neither.

Martin wins this all day imo, I think Glazkov would have to knock him out for the win unless he gets another gift i suppose.

Martin will outwork him all night and probably hurt him regularly. Glazkov really is just a blown up cruiser, he might do better if he dieted.

You may be right. But I haven't seen the jab and footwork to fight tall and his sole defence seems to be his reflexes. But he'll be judges favourite since Haymon is hosting the fight so It's very unlikely that Glazkov gets another gift decision.

Don't call this fight the heavyweight championship. Two nobodies facing each other, a disgrace.

I watched Martin KO highlites on youtube
and I did not recognize one guy in the video!!

    who are these Burger Flippers??

Wilder should line them up for Title Shots!!

Lets see if Martin's power can KO Glazkov!!!

Winning this minor title will rule them out of a chance to win the heavyweight championship v Fury.

I like Martin and think he's one of the best of the crop of up and coming American Heavies that being said, I don't think he's ready for Glazkov, had he stuck with the Breazeale match I think have taken him out with relative ease and cemented himself as one of the top US prospects but he's risking a lot going against Glazkov, who is far more fundamentally sound and his chin is too good for Martin to crack, soI think he made a mistake in taking the fight, but I'm hoping he pulls it off. Not a big fan of Giftkov.

He will never get a better chance to win a world title. You don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Glazkov is really low/medium risk vs massive reward.

I dont think you have thought this through? If he chose Breazeale he would be one stupid mofo. Easier fight but no reward, people already think he's a journeyman.
