    Dudchenko or Mohammedi - I'm not even sure whtch one wins - Mohammdis a tough little terrier, Dudchenko looks OK but is ssentially unproven.

    Essentially Murat level opponents and very pointless for Bernard, but a mando's a mando I guess - if he wants them straps he's gotta jump through the hoops. Wouldn't be surprised if he gets the extension to fight Stevnson first though - if he wins that I wouldn't be surprised to see him retire or drop the IBF strap for a last money fight or 2. There's simply no reason whatsoever for him to fight either of these guys 'less he has to.

    It's how bad the LHW division has become. Can you imagine this guy as the mandatory challenger? That only happens in the LHW division... never in history it has been this bad... all great LHW's are in tabletennis nowadays! :rant

    The date of the next scheduled defense of the title was on the IBF's website before BHop fought Shumenov. It's not like they just sprang this on everyone.

    Hopkins needs KOvalevs WBO belt to become Undisputed and that fight isn't happening so bhop should vacate the IBF and go for Lineal Title vs Stevenson.

    :think They can obviously get a deal done so the new mandatory would step aside for a fight.

    They did it with Dawson. Jean Pascal had to rematch Dawson after a voluntary defence but fought Hopkins instead. Now we had a draw and they cut a deal with Dawson.

    Taking Stevenson's belt is good enough for unified title holder and that would be good enough to retire on.
    I don't see BHOP complying with the IBF mandatory.

    Of course knowing the fools on this site soon they'll be saying BHOP is ducking another nobody Ukrainian. :yep
