He had to give up a belt to make the best fight in the sport, a fight with the guy he was robbed against.

It was worth it, for everyone.

Had GGG not fought Derevyanchenko instead of Vanes this wouldn’t have happened. Btw who is GGG fighting in September? Ohh that’s right the guy that cost him one of his belt.

He’s the mando give him his shot. He should really stop fighting people below his weight class. Yeah if I’m the mando and you keep asking for extension that’s an issue especially if your willing to unify. Because unification >mandos

GGG didn’t fight the mandatory that was why he was stripped. Is he scared of Derevyanchenko probably not but he probably sees as high risk low reward, hence why he didn’t fight him instead of Vanes.

No the fact of the matter is the IBF didn't have to make Tureano Johnson the mandatory because nobody on the planet thought he was the top middleweight in the world.

And they didn't have to make Sergiy the mando when he beat Johnson because nobody thinks Sergiy is the top MIDDLEWEIGHT in the world.

    This was all avoidable.

And instead of telling Sergiy he needed to fight a couple more guys for a mandatory spot, they told Golovkin to VALIDATE THEIR TERRIBLE decisions and fight Sergiy.

    He said no.

Now they've made ANOTHER AWFUL decision to strip him - simply because they've made stupid decisions for several years now.

Golovkin has to be looking at them like "Are you kidding me?"

Seriously, how hard is it just to sit quietly and collect sanctioning fees while two top pound for pound boxers compete for one of your belts?

It’s not the best fight in boxing and whilst I enjoyed the first one in most people’s eyes it didn’t live up to expectation.

    People will cry about anything.

The best fight in boxing has been made finally and it cost GGG a belt and he took on a low risk, 154 fighter, only due to the fact it was Clenelo who ruined their May fight.

So what? It’s called being safe.

Keep on complaining, people. No one cares.

That’s your opinion. I think it’s the best or biggest fight and will be better than the first. These guys don’t like each other now at all.

You say you approve of the strip to give the mando guy his fair right to a shot. But this "shot" isn't really a shot, its leftovers since DJ already lost to GGG. The belt won't have true meaning behind it. To really earn that belt he needs to fight GGG. But logistically, GGG is fighting Clenelo not just for money, but he drew against a guy who came failed multiple tests. There are titles and legacy at stake. The circumstances are not easily drawn out by any means. But I think its the honorable path GGG is taking to rematch Clenelo. The IBF could not wait for whatever ******ed reason.

Thus this shot for Sergiy won't mean **** in that context. If he manages to win vs DJ, he'll have a trinket that really belongs to another in a way.

We shall see, hopefully it is the best fight when the action unfolds, hopefully we get a conclusive winner too. I don’t think we will, but long as it’s not a draw we can move on from this whole nonsense.

Well I had Danny Jacobs beating GGG on my scorecard, so if I just wanna twist things around like you I can say he is fighting the true champ in my eyes. I don’t care who wins out of Jacobs vs SD but whoever wins is the IBF champ that’s just the fact of the matter.

I don't think he sees it as "high risk" at all. I don't think you really do, either.

Jacobs beats Sergiy. Charlo rips his head off his shoulders. Golovkin spanks him about as fast as he wasted Geale. Canelo beats him like a drum. Andrade jabs his head off. Saunders dominates. Could Sergiy even beat Lemieux?

Sergiy isn't a top middleweight. He got an undeserved rating by an org. It happens all the time. (And shouldn't.)

You don't strip HALL OF FAMERS because you gave a guy an undeserved ranking.

I'm not twisting ****, GGG beat DJ, not on my scorecard, but the judges. :duh

Oh almost forgot, DJ ahaha ducked the IBF due to the morning of weigh-ins didn't he? He couldn't have become the IBF champ anyways roflmao. :risas3::risas3:

He's not ducking the mando, he asked them to wait while he takes care of real business. Sergiy is not high risk lol, that's you twisting **** again.
