And Hrgovic fighting De Mori, should be awarded, right? And that 0-1 guy is just for the fanboys. Everyone knows Ngannou embarrassed Fury and beats him badly. Ngannou in reality had a lot more credibility than most Boxer if we are to be fair.
They probably realised Anthony is taking the easiest fights he can get away with and will mess them around.
AJ decides to fight Ngannou, so I don't think he shouldn't complain. Yes, boxing politics is terrible, but this is not a bad instance compared to others. Look at how they treat Canelo for completely dodgy belt management. How long was Jermell holding onto the belts at 154? Haney is given an absolute robbery over Loma. This is just a corrupt sport.
Joshua should be removed from all combinations because together with Fury he slows down the division, if he cares about easy money because of fear then let him fight with MMA fighters...
Neither should be rewarded, the IBF is corrupt as hell. Ngannou may be a credible threat (now more so than before the Fury fight) but he’s not gone out and actually beat some guys making it hard to say how good he actually is. Problem with this fight (and the Fury fight) is there were clearly much better options (Usyk and Hrgovic) out there.
Sorry, but it's Fury who open the door for such fights. Blame him. Ngannou fight was offered to AJ long before, but he rejected it back then, he didn't want to be in that circus. Saudi offered him that fight. This was already explained. You are slating him, for literally staying active. Didn't heard a word about Parker previous opponents, after the Joe Joyce loss. But AJ was again slated for his pick of opponents after 2 back to back losses. You can't compare the both cases, as Fury literally put the whole division on hold and wasted tons of Usyk career with mockery and circus. Just like he did with Klitschko before that. Wasted almost a year with his nonsenses. He also done the same with Joshua. So AJ was clear, that he won't waste any energy with ultimate time-wasters like Fury anylonger. His words. He said he will fight on his pace. And it's exactly what happen. He had 3 fights, and this is his 4 fight in the span of 1 year. And Hearn already explained it. Hrgovic fight is for the summer, always was. The option for AJ was to either fight Ngannou, as this was the biggest possible fight from the Saudi, or wait till the summer for the Hrgovic and fight for the IBF title. And sorry to bring it out to you, but Hrgovic is noone, so the fight against Hrgovic, unless for the IBF title is a s**** one in terms of production. That fight becomes big, only when the title is on the line, otherwise it is not. But here is the deal, when AJ was a Champion, he has done his job facing his mandatory. He never ducked anyone. People were still crying and complaining. Zhang is WBO mandatory, Hrgovic is IBF one. Why should AJ, who is not a champion fight this guys ? There is 2x Champion in the division and it's their job to do so. And the reason for all the delay is Fury. And here is the difference. Ngannou is literally stay busy fight, 4th in a year for AJ, and he will fight in the summer again. Fury wasted a f**** whole year before that fighting no one. Not a single ranked opponent, and there is plenty of good names in the WBC top 15 that he would have fought. He wasted tons of time, fighting Chisora, then almost a year of inactivity, and fight a guy that never boxed in his life and Hell he lost that fight. And that wasn't even a title fight. And Fury is a Champion, he had obligation, AJ had none. But don't worry, AJ is still going to fight for the IBF title. Hearn already stated and explained this. AJ is already top 2 in pretty much every ranking, so even if it's not for the IBF, he will be mandatory for most of the belts anyway.
I know he wasn't. Hence why I specified he was ranked #3 by The Ring. The IBF hasn't even updated their rankings yet but J-Park is ranked #4 as it stands now and seeing as AJ opted to fight Ngannou when he could've just fought Hrgovic instead he missed his turn so J-Park has stepped forwards. E-Hearn either wants Hrgovic to wait until the summer for them or fight another street vendor in order to increase AJ's chances of beating him. Hrgovic has been the mandatory since biblical times so let him get his title shot next and then the winner can defend against AJ if he gets past Ngannou. I didn't say I agreed with the IBF I said I'm happy to see E-Hearn's plans disrupted and I would be even happier to see them disrupted more Losing to an inactive Usyk in his backyard and then in Saudi for the rematch against an Usyk who had the huge distraction or his country being invaded and at war vs J-Park losing to Big Joe in Big Joe's backyard. Yeah, I'd agree but J-Park beating The Dosser>>>AJ beating former 2 x victim and sparring partner Wallin and let's not forget the if were going to cite inactivity Wallin booked his ranking by beating an injury-ravaged inactive Gassiev who hadn't fought anyone with a pulse in five years and hasn't even boxed 8 complete rounds in all that time. That's the whole point though. E-Hearn, Ben Davison and AJ want a third crack at beating Usyk and that is the plan should Usyk defeat Belly. This is the reason I'm pissed off about this and ReMatchroom giving AJ as many rolls of the dice until they achieve the desired result but his beaten foes only ever being given one. They want to ''right that loss'' to Usyk even though it's two losses, two comprehensive losses, despite the fact AJ didn't deserve the first rematch and categorically doesn't deserve another crack at trying to beat Usyk. It should all be done and dusted and you tell me in which alternate reality or dimension AJ would ever have to rematch someone he's comprehensive beaten twice?
Again you have completely misinterpreted what I was saying and have had your vision clouded by your agenda against Fury. Did I say Joshua fighting Ngannou was worse than when Fury did? Absolutely not, I very much think the opposite. However I think fighting Hrgovic or Zhang next would have been far better and more exciting. It would also have further boosted his rankings with the ABC soup organisations. I simply cannot support a guy like Joshua choosing an 0-1 opponent next. We’ve heard the same stuff from Hearn a thousand times before, I just want to see the best fights.
And i think you didn't read or comprehend my whole post. I already said that Hrgovic is not an option, unless it's for the IBF title. It's just not a profitable fight.
Sorry, but after AJ mocked Fury for fighting Ngannou he doesn't get a pass for doing exactly the same thing.
I'm also happy when someone demonic plans have been ruined, and especially Eddie plans of late. As the Conor Benn(never even following and knowing this guy prior to the saga) literally put him in terrible lights in my eyes. While he is his promoter, he should have distance from him, or at least not says all the bollocks he says and try to dodge every single rule and get Benn clear by the back door. The guy is a walking pharmacy, that is a clear, and it's a clear that he is 100% a drug cheat. Hearn literally ruined his own reputation defending this fraud. As far as the IBF saga, IBF actually updated their ranking, and AJ is still 3rd, and Parker is still 4th. Now here is the problem with the Hrgovic situation. Firstable it was a Saudi offer. I have no doubt that Hearn obviously influence their decision, but the Hrgovic fight right now was not on the line. Also Hrgovic - AJ is not very profitable fight. Let's be real here. But it's a different beast if it's for the IBF title. And here is the problem, no one knows what will happen next. They could have made AJ - Hrgovic, but IBF have their plans and they simple could refuse to order that fight been for the vacant title. Also there is a big possibility, they won't be ready with stripping Usyk, etc, etc. The usual situation is, after Usyk/Fury fight, they will give the Champion 30+ days to negotiate a deal with the mandatory, and if it didn't happen, then they will order purse bid. Fury/Usyk have rematch clause, this is right, but they can active the rematch 1 or 2 months later, so they could still be a Champion and even pretend to defend their title. IBF can strip the Fury/Usyk only if the 30 days deadline is passed + the purse bid. We also have a situation way Fury/Usyk may not want the rematch. Or someone decide to cheat and pull get out of jail card and retire. In a case when Usyk lost that Fury fight, and Fury decide to retire(not sure what the rematch in the contract state), Usyk could very well may want to continue, and IBF can very well give him a straight shot at the title against Hrgovic as well. Similar situation if Usyk won. Fury may decide to retire, and Usyk may decide to have 1 or 2 more matches and defend his belts. And yeah there is a case where on Monday, aka February 19th, some of the Champion comes out and activate the rematch clause or say straight away they won't defend against the mandatory, and IBF can strip them straight away. They still have to order a fight for the title. The window is super tight, so Saudi and AJ decision not to op for Hrgovic fight in this case is 100% correct. As while i like Hrgovic, he is just not a name, and that fight is hard to sell, and this are all prize fighters. And everyone wants to fight AJ, as he is the cash cow of the division, and this is 100% true.
Was Wallin or Franklin profitable fights? Stop making excuses. We all get you are an AJ fanboy, but at least try to have a shred of objectivity and not be agenda driven.
A ****ing joke. But AJ:s job is fairly straight forward still - beat Hrgovic and Zhang and be the sole top challenger. Or - if Usyk and Fury retire after their fight(s) - the guy to beat. Belt rankings won't matter.
