IBF order Pulev vs Breazeale

So Wilder will have to fight Whyte next.

Joshua if he wins could be fight one of these 2 next.

 

I predict that Pulev doesn't take the fight.

 

Why not? This is a very winnable fight for him, Breazeale is slow as treacle and is streets behind the Bulgarian in terms of skill. Pulev easy UD IMO. He must surely come to terms with the fact that he isn't going to win a World title in this HW landscape, his best option by far is to just regain mandatory status and cash out against AJ. Breazeale is perfect for that.

 

Brazeale is hoping for a Wilder fight.

Signing v Pulev would remove him from the shot if the Wilder Whyte fight falls through

Fight won’t happen, I don’t think either camp is really interested in this fight.

Exactly, if anything I believe Breazeale is more likely to turn this down. If it comes to a final eliminator against Whyte or Pulev, I think Whyte is Dominic's better option. Both of them are more skilled than Breazeale IMO but Whyte's defense is more porous and thus he's more likely to get hit by a heavy handed hail Mary.

 

Pulev is better than Parker by the way.

 

Would be a good fight if it happens. Breazeale is the clear underdog but he's tough and hits hard. Pulev is clearly the better boxer and should win if he can smother Breazeale on the inside but Breazeale is dangerous.

Not sure if either would take it. Breazeale is ranked 2 by the WBC and might prefer a shot at Wilder rather than a shot at Joshua again where he was dominated, though he doesn't seem the type to duck a tough fight. Pulev seems to have lost all desire to fight anyone with a pulse and is wasting away his last few years fighting a shot Peter and a past it Johnson.

 

Man, Breazeale has had i though. And he is slowly growing on me.
Aguilera, Kassi, Mansour, Joshua, Ugonoh and Molina. Not a bad run for someone as bad as him. And he only lost to Joshua.

Speaking of Pulev, please pulev, do this fight, don't be tempted by money from Wilder. I don't want him fighting any more high guard, slow fighters. No more for goodness sakes Deonkey.....

 

What is the point. Pulev had the mandatory shot at Joshua already and he threw it away. He'll probably to the same if he beats Breazzele.

Not a bad fight though. Breazzele can't box but has an iron chin and a lot of courage. Pulev can outbox him but hasn't the power of inside game to deal with Brezzele on the inside.
